I went to my first fantasy tournament since I quit 40K and start playing fantasy about 4 months ago. It was a 2400 pts with special scnearios. We were 36 and being a new player with not a fully painted army my goal was to gain experience.
First game was againts a nurgle warriror of chaos army. Very nice army that won best painted. Scenario was controlling center of table with a unit that has at least one command model give 15 pts and depending on victory points difference you can get up to an other 15 pts
He started the game, his first target with his Nurgle DP is of course my terrrorgheist but I managed to neutralized his death spells. My first turned was to move fwd all bunch together and my terrorghesit scream at his DP for 6 W but he managed to save 3 so he has one W left. He charged my terrorgheist on the flank with his nurgle charriot however he failed is terror check so I end up with no wounds and I will killled him on my turn with the scream. He charged my big unit of crypt horror with a gorebeast charriot and 3 crushers, 3 crushers missed the charge ( he needed a 10 ). Gorebeast won combat by 1 nothing serious there. during my turn I tarpit his crushers with zombies and finish off the DP with mortis engine scream, I now have magic control and I end up with a dance macabre on my unit of crypt horror. from there its a grinding game up to turn 5 where he has his unit of 20 nurgle chaos warrior with bsb controlling the middle objective and 2 crushers in front of them. My vamps pop his potion of Strenght charge the crushers, killed them all overun into his warrior unit killed 8 of them with combat res they need a 4 to stick which they do, Turn 6 I charge terrorghesit and vargheist to finish off the unit and controlling the middle. I end up with a very good strart 24-6 for me. ill post rest tonight Im at work now.

... Wont have time to finish painting my army tough its so long to paint a fantasy army compare to 40k I paint everyday and still not half done....
