so for those who couldn't get a copy there's softcovers coming in the next few weeks: From GW website: "Over the last few weeks, our book releases – especially for the End Times – have proven so popular they’ve sold out. As a result, we’re printing new softback editions. Warhammer: Nagash and Warhammer: Glottkin are already available to order now from the Games Workshop website and will soon be available in Games Workshop stores and independent stockists. Currently the English editions are in stock, but we will be printing them in other languages in the near future. Both Warhammer: Khaine and Shield of Baal: Leviathan are also being printed as we speak and we hope to have them both back in stock before Christmas. Watch this space for details!" www.games-workshop.com/en-CA/blog/blog.jsp;jsessionid=1A60F3285C491E01497420D0AC4F2E46

Yeah was pretty sure the limited numbers was a "OMG we didn't print nearly enough" as opposed to a long term plan to make them more "desirable". Glad I got my copy of ET: Khaine! Heard people rumbling on various forums that even some GW stores were only getting 1 or 2 copies, and some independent retailers got shorted due to a reshuffling of inventory (that didn't happen with other 2 books because they didn't sell as fast).
As an aside, they really missed a huge opportunity to release a shiny new kit for elves, being one of the most popular "armies" (when you count all 3) in WHFB. Maybe there will be a future release that elves can use, but don't have my hopes up at this point.
