Link = IG-2000 Pilots & DialI think "wow" pretty much covers it. This thing is so unpredictable that it's going to encourage the meta to continue to favour turreted ships whilst the upcoming autothrusters card will do just the opposite. It will be interesting to see which ships end up eventually seeing more action. Fortunately, just because it's unpredictable doesn't necessarily make it particularly maneuverable. It appears much better than it is, imho. People will have to keep in mind the ship's limitations especially when building lists.

That dial is nuts. A big ship that can move comparable a tie fighter....PLUS the bonus loops. I feel like xwing is really pushing for getting out of arc as defense. I think this is going to be a game changer. The defensive stats on this thing is nuts. It is now the most survival ship now if I'm not mistaken. ( teamcovenant.com/theorist/2013/10/30/side-by-side-x-wing-vs-b-wing/ article I'm sighting for rough math) A point of health at AGI 1 is worth ~2 — B-wing comes in at 16. Add Hull/Shield and it goes to 18. A point of health at AGI 2 is worth ~3 — X-wing comes in at 15. Add Hull/Shield and it goes to 18. A point of health at AGI 3 is worth ~4 — Interceptor comes in at 12. Add Hull/Shield and it goes to 16. So if this holds true 8x4 gives the IG-2000 a total defense of 32! add a hull/shield and it goes up to 36! if this holds true than this 36 pt base ships is as survivable as 2 base b-wing WITHOUT factoring in the amazing dial that its coming with. This ships is game changing, before you even get to its crazy good load out options AND dial. good luck Empire and Rebel...

It's certainly good but I don't think nearly as good as people are making it out to be, particularly in a (somehow still) relatively stress-free meta. For obvious reasons (doing damage and avoiding damage being the name of the game), there's not too many disruption-heavy lists out there. This ship might encourage that change, though. After all, with a single stress, this ship loses its biggest early-game advantage: first-contact set play versatility.

It is still a big based ship, so in a swarm it can certainly be denied all that fancy movement.
Plus, arc dodging or not, a turret will still find it.
I think it's a great ship, but I don't think it is invulnerable in a 100 point list.

Definitely can be handled, and I'm pretty sure it can handled my things other than turrets. Anything stress related means you know that at least it won't be doing its really funky maneuvers (at least as long as Scum doesn't have access to stress clearing pre-movement abilities). Also, blockers, so much easier to block a big ship than a small one (in my opinion). So definitely a new facet of the game, but not a game BREAKING one.

I still take solace in the fact that Boba Fett basically killed IG88 C and D at the same time. Though D survived until Dash killed it on Ord Mantell but Boba Fett 2v1'd them and won.
Let that be a lesson to you all. Boba's still the best no matter what the tricky robot can do.
