I just got into xwing and i been looking at weather to get into the Imps or rebels. What are the main difference between them? (otherwise then bad guys are cool)

imperials have cheap ships (relatively) that are zippy but fragile with no shields
rebels get shields and can be a little more resilient
otherwise it's pretty much what type of ships you prefer really

Cool ty. I always liked the advanced and intercepter tie fighters. They look so cool.

The TIE Interceptor is a fairly decent ship but due to its own popularity can be hard to come across on the retail level.
The TIE Advanced, currently, is a little lack luster. Offering shields it is a resilient Imp ship but still doesn't really pack a punch offensively compared to the slightly more maneuverable TIE Fighter which is also cheaper to field. However, the upcoming Imperial Raider will be providing a great boost to the Advanced to make it more viable ship on the table and some nasty combos can be made that will make the ship highly offensive.
The third faction also just launched so it's a good time jump in.

The third fraction is scum and villainy? How are they? I read the intro on thier site and they seem cool. They fly rebel ships as thier own correct?

The third fraction is scum and villainy? How are they? I read the intro on thier site and they seem cool. They fly rebel ships as thier own correct? The ships they fly are the older ones, such as Z-95's and Y-Wings which have been around since the Clone Wars so are easy for a criminal organization to get a hold of. They also have access to the HWK-290 which is a small freighter. And as LizardTau said, they have access to the Firespray with a new Boba Fett with a different ability to his Imperial pilot card. As to how they fly, I'm not too sure as I have yet to have the full chance to unbox my shipment, but from what I've seen they don't have as many high pilot skill pilots as the other factions and their pilots are more "selfish" than team-oriented but there is still synergy to be found. There are articles on Fantasy Flight's site explaining a lot of this probably better than I could at this point

According to FFG's own site, ships such as the Falcon, Firespray and TIE Interceptors are due for restock at the end of the week: www.fantasyflightgames.com/en/upcoming/So perhaps speak with your lovely FLGS and see if they know they are getting some or some such!
