Couple things: Since this week is the first of the campaign, where can we grab the 1st week scenario (or should we keep it a surprise until we get in store and they'll have it there)?
Also, I'm planning on bringing some bits (heads, weapons, etc) to swap with whomever I end up playing each week to put some trophies on lucky models or whatever, would be cool if everyone brought along something of the sort..

I will have the first scenario uploaded here by Wednesday. I'll also email it to Nexus so they have a copy there as well.

I like this idea. I will bring some bitz as well. Still have to build my lists though.

Question.
If you have a model that has wargear that is One use only and you use it in one game. Is it done for the whole tourney, or does it come back next game?
ie Astra Militarum Missles, or Necron tackyon arrows ect?

so for the iron man tourney only (NOT the campaign where it's independent games) a one use only item is literally one use... once you use it, it's gone. Think of it like you're playing one really, really long game until everything you have is gone OR you're the last model standing. (just against multiple opponents!) ALSO If you summon any unit - ie: tervigon, daemonic summoning you aren't going to be able to have them come with you to the next game. This would be FAR too unbalancing for an iron man tourney! You summon it, it goes back into the warp at the end of the game. tyranids, the new gaunts become snacks for the army I guess

So then the loss of a spell via perils, or summoning ability due to triples will carry forward? Does this also mean once spells are rolled game 1 they’re locked in for the duration? If so that’ll be nice to not have to re-roll spells every game.

If it repairs models and adds them to the unit are they lost or should I keep track of which models were from the repair barge?

they are brought back from the dead basically and cannot go above starting value, so they're fine as they're not truly "summoned" additional separate units, just ways to heal your models. So in the same respect if you heal back wounds with IWND those are fine too.

If so that’ll be nice to not have to re-roll spells every game. Think of it like your models are "set" at game one. You have your warlord traits, spells, wounds, equipment etc. If you take wounds, they're lost... one use only items are used up when they're used... lose a spell - it's gone for the duration... tervigon can't produce more? yep the effect carries through. The idea is that for the most part (again effects like IWND are an exception along with any other "healing" effect) it's like one long battle of attrition for your army. Certain armies that rely on small fragile units to last turn an objective may have to rethink their build / squad sizes. Likewise if your army relies on a big super deathstar and it dies game one (when the person you're facing also has 2.5k of firepower to put the hurt on!) you're going to have a bit of a rough road for the rest of the day. Games are time limit games only. No tapping out or just calling it, except for time or if you don't have enough time to do a full turn. single elimination - once your models are all dead you're out! (but stay around to cheer and you still get equal shot at the prize pool) If we're at odd numbers, the person with the LEAST amount of points left gets the buy for the round.

I have a few questions, If I'm above or under the point limit is it okay or do I have to be on the dot. Also for the Seeker and Smart missiles for tau the codex doesn't have their point cost listed do they count as a missile pod or a high yielding? and can you twin link 3 things or no.

I have a question about formations. If I have a formation and a unit is dies in the first game do I lose all effects of the formation for the rest of the tournament? If my formation says that if I model dies all other units in the formation gain a special rule do I keep that special rule for the rest of the day, or is it lost?

Ref: Tau Codex. Seeker missiles are normally entered under the model buying it. Ie. Hammerhead Gunship on page (103) "...May take up to Two Seeker missiles.... 8 points each" same for Smart missile system (SMS). Unless it says High-yield it is not. example Page 103 again Broadsides. "... May exchange his twin linked heavy rail rifle for a twin-linked high-yield missile pod.." Ref: Twin linked: See page 95. Under ranged weapons. " A twin linked weapon counts as two choices for this list...." So unless your suit can have 6 weapon systems Im going to side with no. Ref: Points. Normally it is up to the max. not above. For example my 500 point army is only 495 points. But Shannon can answer that if its changed.

If you have an effect that happens once a model dies then it's in effect for the entire duration because in the next game the model is still dead. Again, think of it like one long game... your army just gets whittled away to nothing by the end! (or wins it)
