I haven't been able to be around Thursday nights- so forgive me if this is a re-iteration of chatter! But I know there can be trepidation about changes, and wanted to share thoughts because I think they may be good (and safe!)
Re: "Unbound" ~this seems like it's going to be optional much like End Times, for the forthcoming Fantasy (I'm sure some of us have presumed this already). The word on the street is that regular WFB will remain much the same, with all units playable. It looks like the optional 'Unbound' is a solution for a general problem our WFB has LONG faced: integrating people into the hobby. Have a friend & they want to try out WFB? Skirmish in the fantasy setting, with what models you have- just equalize the points and have fun!
The 'Unbound' variant seems less likely on the competitive circuit but if it went there I'm confident the vigilant community would comp it accordingly (so that is not all about who can buy more Skull Cannons!)
Hopefully this is a relief for anyone who had had some reluctance about what's ahead. Again is just my perception based on all the 9th rumors so far.
