I wonder if we're going to end up seeing the Unforgiven as a supplement to Codex: Space Marines rather than a standalone? It'd piss some people off I'm sure but it'd certainly defeat the "Dark Angels are just a worse Space Marines" mentality

Still holding out hope this is the one Marine dex to rule them all so I don't have to take requisite ally choices to be able to bring the things necessary for a non vanilla codex to be competitive.

As much as some people would be pissed this would make the most sense wouldn't it? MOST of the marine options are all the same, it wouldn't take much to make a combined dex. Haven't heard that's the case, but it would make a lot of sense.

been sifting through DA models given it's a slow day at work...
...must resist new army just for the sake of having a new army...lol
however in my defense a dark vengence set COULD be handy given I could use the chosent to convert into possessed for my daemonkin, plus twenty cultists is what I need for that as well, so I'd actually make use out of a box set for once...
*slaps self* YOU DON'T NEED FIVE MARINE ARMIES!!!!!!

from B&C by way of Faeit: "The cover of the Dark Angels Codex has leaked, and with it images of the Unforgiven, limited edition codex. Check out the latest Dark Angel leaks. Here is a link to the leaked images. Really spectacular cover art. via Master Sheol on Bolter and Chainsword www.bolterandchainsword.com/topic/303857-rumours-dark-angels-codex-interrogator-chaplain/?p=4089941 in some of the tidbits is mentioned the following: "Dark angels are known for their discipline (even guilliman respects says that) need proof? look at the overwatch fire of a battle demi-company!" and "dark angels are known to attack hard and fast. expect the deathwing to assault on turn 2" the upcomming WD has(sorry if it isnt 100% translated): - at the dusk of a new age... -...we are celebrating warhammer - new mission: hunt The Fallen no real leaks yet dear friends. expect them on the following tuesday/wednesday. when i got the book in my hands."

Robed zealots that are too stubbornly crazy to run away and feature a sect of extra-insane torture Chaplains and a fondness for big, incense filled maces? Sounds like a solid way to represent my poor, poor Word Bearers.
I definitely have some Chaos Terminators with big power mauls (possibly FROM the Deathwing kit) and Chaos Knight shields that would make solid Deathwing Knights. And Asmodai would give me a good reason to use Forge World's sweet Erebus model for something.
