The ranger setup is awesome... rune of slowness + scout + S5 throwing axes = alot of hurt and potentially an extra round of shooting...
The hammerers are going to be really tough to shift... I think deployment is going to be everything, as if your warriors and hammerers get pulled out of position, it may be easier to get at your protected warmachines... that bolt thrower should wreck face pretty bad, as will the thrower... I guess if you're only taking a few machines, best to have them be as deadly as possible...
I'm liking the list Kerry... would be a tough prospect to face... I've admittedly not used a master engineer very much though, so can't comment on what kind of force multiplier he would be... the idea of giving your bolt thrower an armor and a ward save, along with a capable combat character and a stand and shoot reaction from the handgun though on paper looks pretty awesome!

Thanks for the feedback Shannon. I haven't used a master engineer much either. I thought that the BS 5 and entrenchment might allow the BT to be "cheap cannon" of sorts. Also in terms of deployment one unit of shooters will be next to a war machine. I included the thunderers as Ive found they tend to draw fire more than crossbows and may allow the hammers to survive longer. Maybe I should just go with another unit of GW warriors instead but I'm thinking that there might not be enough hitting power against some of the elite units. Probably doesn't matter really. Yes and depending on the scenario there may still be challenges. ;D
