Hey all!
I'm looking to pick up a Bloodthirster or Lord of Skulls! Preferably on sprue, or partly assembled. Im not too picky...
BFTBG.
Let me know! Adam

If you can't find one used, I know that Kingston Gaming Nexus has one in stock right now. ...plus skarbrand is coming out this week for preorder

Skarbrand The Exiled One! Dope... Love his story.
Ya I saw the one down at Nexus, may end up springing on him. Curious, who would you prefer a BT or LOS?

personally I'd prefer a bloodthirster because he can be used for khorne daemonkin and chaos daemons for 40k and Age of Sigmar as well.
Lord of skulls I find is just too damn expensive point wise to be effective. Compare him to an imperial knight for example which is less than half the points.

Bloodthirster is rage, bloodthirster is life
+1 for a bt, I think the one you get "for free" in kdk is rage so build him appropriately, or magnetize

I’ll put in another +1 for the thirster. If you want a big nasty Khorne surprise, go for the Forgeworld Kytan Daemon Engine.

Voodoo is the big forge world fanboy here, which is to say he knows the most about forge world so I trust his advice pertaining to the most expensive resin in the world

I wouldn't invest that much money into a model that's using experimental rules. If you want something khorna from forgeworld my vote goes to the brass scorpion

yeah but it's only 10 pounds more than the new skarbrand... soon forge world will be the budget friendly choice

I'm pretty sure the kytan daemon engine only comes with the legs, and you have to buy the lord of skulls to use as the body. So not so budget friendly...

Incorrect, it comes with everything you need to assemble a kytan engine. Still though, you make a good point about the experimental rules.

The only appealing thing to me about the Kytan is its points vs the LOS. 525pts compared to nearly 1000pts to field.
It just doesn't really get more badass then an LOS. Though I do love the BloodThirster model and am super partial to it.
