Is Deathwing suddenly awesome again then? 3+'s plus Assault cannons = nasty.

Is Deathwing suddenly awesome again then? 3+'s plus Assault cannons = nasty. From my understanding, yes. Time to dust those white suits of armour off again.

Well the DE FAQ just made Voidraven Spam even worse, I think, since from what I read, they can use the voidbomb in addition to other weapons and they can also move Flat Out and still use the mine.

I have yet to face the new Dark Eldar. But if YOU are worried, redshirt, then it must be something to look out for.

Basically it means they could potentially move 12" drop the mine and then shoot 2 S9 Lance shots, plus spam 4 missles

How many points is a voidraven bomber that gives you 2 S9 lance and 4 missiles?

Yeah. Go GW and your apparent urge to have 40k games end it 20 minutes. Sheesh.
I'm honestly getting closer and closer to just ditching all of my GW out of annoyance with the way that company is run and sinking it into Privateer or some other company with half an ounce of sense on how customer loyalty works.

Matt, I'm feeling the same way about GW sometimes. Its a game with such potential I wonder what it would be like if GW was bought out by a company that understands how to make proper games and support their product (and not screw with their customers).

Honestly, I love playing the GW games, but it's getting to the point that it has to be with the right people in the right situation, and usually in a VERY "for fun" setting.

For Fun has definitely becomes the name of the game for me. I like playing in the tournaments since it's nice when you can win prizes, but going to play a friendly game only to have your opponent bring a win-at-all-costs list really doesn't make it worth playing anymore.
I used to be the guy that would go out of his way to play those people and bring a list of my own that would just table them and then afterwards explain to them that they need to realize that they shouldn't bring that kind of list to friendly games or they weren't likely to have anyone to play against.
I, myself, always used friendly games to try out different combos to see if they worked or not. It was a great way to try them outside of tournaments so I'd know if it was worthy trying them out in a tournament.
