Question is how you can take them, are the elite choices for any army of the imperium or will there be a certain way to take them?

Question is how you can take them, are the elite choices for any army of the imperium or will there be a certain way to take them? That's the kicker right there - being able to put them in transports will help the Sisters out a TON - if you could load them up in a Land Raider with the combat weapons they'll be really deadly for remarkably cheap. On foot, I think they're still worth taking as psychic defense, but are going to struggle to get very far up the table.

im already seeing the Custodes death star with some FnP in there by some means on the 2W 2+ eternal warrior on T5. That +1 attack weapon with some storm shields and then the S6 AP 2 spears to kill stuff... looks like Imperials finally have a real termie model for an extra 8 pts per model.

They're definitely going to be making an appearance with my Grey Knights. That unit lead by Draigo would be terrifying...

If anyone is following Facebook, the guys from the Warhammer 40k page have replied to someone's question about how they work and currently it looks like the only way to run them in 40k is using Unbound since they are not currently counted as an Army so can't ally in. If I read it correctly, they currently are really only meant for 30k and can join Imperial armies in the Elite slot. Seems they will need to clarify exactly how they are going to work in 40k

I'm sure they'll be part of the upcoming sisters dex, which is set to be released prior to 8th apparently.

Anyone else wonder why it mentions boltcasters under ranged weapons in the page after custodians. When the don't have options to take boltcasters

Well I guess my new custodes are going to try and hit the table tommorow. 280 points for 6 S5 AP3 attacks, 10 S6 AP2 attacks and 2 Stormshields to tank wounds with. I'm going to throw down with some grey knights tommorow, throw a librarian in the squad on Sanctic, hope for sanctuary and hammerhead, I could also make that 13 AP2 attacks and lose 2 AP3 attacks if I wanted, for an additional 30 points.
