And the complete lack of 180 on the Grenade issue, which is the biggest misstep in my opinion.

I dunno; grenades are pretty damn precarious. You definitely don’t want everyone around you fiddling with one at the same time, tends to go poorly. Granted, this is a game set in the far, far, far, far future but still; in the din of combat I’d still want someone covering me while I arm a grenade to fight a/an (insert chosen unit here).

they had to keep the grenade ruling... dreadnoughts were a joke without it... they're still not stellar, but at least they're playable when they don't have to be scared of basic infantry just ripping them apart in combat.

Isn't the grenade rule just the rule that's already in the book?

Isn't the grenade rule just the rule that's already in the book? the short answer is yes. The long answer is that in the last edition it was just that one model in a unit could throw a grenade as a shooting attack. In this edition it says that one model can throw a grenade per phase, and everyone assumed throwing a grenade ment shooting it not using it as a close combat attack.

Isn't the grenade rule just the rule that's already in the book? yes it absolutely is the rule as written... people have been arguing that it says "thrown" so it must be shooting only.. GW clarified that no, it's every phase, as written... which has some people upset.

Still wondering about the VSG. Not really sure exactly how it would work out considering it's extending them to a certain range.

Ya the VSG project shields but is still a building with shields. However you can also upgrade VSG ONTO imperial bunkers and stuff. The upgrade that only affects the targeted building seems to make sense but the VSG is the odd ball cause it protects everything in 12" not just the building

We've changed other things why not just make those weapons work as normal. Just remove the second part of the statement.
