This list won over tau in the semi's, with a seize roll for the renagades. I guess the tau player was favored in the match up but seizes can happen...
Ya also top 8 only had 2 eldar factions and top 4 was no eldar or crons!!
big meta shift.
Im also happy to see 2 tau top 8 lists when last year they didnt even back top 12.

Shining Spears in a top table list is something I never thought I'd see. Also the War Convo is running Stubcarbine and Power Sword on the Infiltrators, which I've always veiwed as distinctly worse.
I'd be interested to hear the reasoning behind it, I trust these folk with list building way more than I trust myself.

40 troops models for 120 points. Nice.
Not sure why the masque tho. Can't join a unit cuse not daemons of slaneesh. Just a single to 3 model.

Masque is huge anti-Deathstar for super small points. Keep her hidden and then dump that -5 WS, move D3" dance on them and watch them struggle to do anything at all.
Sure she's a single model and vulnerable to ID, but she's pretty easy to hide, rerolls invuls and ultimately costs a tiny number of points if your opponent decides to really devote energy to removing her.
