Hitting the shelves this weekend, check out their new rules… Not only do they get cooler weapons than normal terminators they also get a reaper autocannon. And no… Chaos can’t take them either. Wait for it….. There it is, that pleasant burning feeling from the salt really and truly entering the open wound of GW really not liking CSM. Sigh… enjoy Loyalist scum, it’s a sick little diddy. csm and space marines are different armies. If you just want to play marines with spikes on them, use whatever dex you like.
chaos has gotten MORE releases than any other faction in the last six months... and when you're talking traitor legions and magnus we're talking some pretty stellar stuff.
hell, if you WANT to use those Tarantos terminators with a spike on them - go for it. They're not exactly good.... like at all.
when was the last time you heard someone say "these shooty terminators would be instantly viable if I could take a reaper autocannon instead!"

Lol, it’s not about making shooty terminators viable. It’s the fact that CSM termies only get two weapons for shooty options. Heavy flamer or the Reaper.
The reaper was like Chaos Terminator’s old Honda Civic. It may not be flashy, hell; it can’t get the job done more often than not, but damn she’s reliable, and she was ours. Now, our jerk younger brothers have wax-pressed a copy of her key even though they’ve got a better, newer car of their own.

lol! CSM terminators do! That old civic was all they had. Now they're super worthless AND their younger brother has the same stuff, lol.
Side note: Damn I hope 8th does something to make terminators useful again. "Tactical Dreadnought Armor" shouldn't just be something that gets brushed aside. They're literally the toughest MF-ers in a Legion's arsenal; rules just need to change to accurately represent that.

Half of the game having super easy access to AP2 with either multiple shots or large blasts would help.
