Starting a thread to document the progress on my AoS Army. This army will consist of OOP Dwarf and High Elf models (to the best of my knowledge). First up was ten empire/freeguild hand gunners. I started with only four unique models and converted six of them. They are now ready for priming and paint. imgur.com/a/zUmigNext I stripped ten dwarf slayers and removed their slotta pieces. After filling the feet and mold lines I glued them to rounds. Now they just need basing material and they are ready for priming. I have just finished stripping Tyrion, Archmage, Loremaster, Eltharion, Runelord, Dwarf Lord and Felix. I now have Gotrex, Waywatchers, HE Bolt Thrower and HE Chariot soaking in a mix of nail polish remover and airbrush cleaner. Need to pick up a jug of pure acetone. Thanks for reading. I will try to update often and with pictures.

those old metals are fantastic... especially the dwarf range... this makes me miss my all metal dwarf army that I stupidly sold a few years ago!

The character of the sculpts and the weight in hand have no competition from the new plastics. Don't get me wrong the new plastic CAD models are amazing they just don't have that human touch.

Well I've hit a snag... Tyrion is down for the count. The diameter of the horses leg is not big enough to accommodate pinning. Any suggestions? imgur.com/a/vm3pK

I just crazy glued the shit out of him. Also doesn't help that we don't have a pin vice nor have the experience to do it.

Might try to get something stronger than super glue. Has anyone used anything they've found to be better than super glue?
