I am 100% sure they stole that knife for some poor skaven plage monk. it has the bells and every thing!

Does nurgle have some sort of bell reference or icon in the lore?

Not historically. It's always been the fly icon and the tri-skull with marines. The bell was only really looselsy used in fantasy Daemons for their banners and little bits and bobs.
I had thought originally that they were trying to bring the plague monks and nurgle AoS stuff closer together in terms of iconography just to solidify the "destruction" army, etc. but that's really just baseless speculation.
It might be that they just have the 3D models of bells and why not use what you already have where you can am I right? This could also be a kitbashed model that isn't actually from the new line at all.

The latest herald of nurgle model (as seen in the start collecting box) has bells... but I've seen it WAY more with skaven plague bearers/monks
"stay frosty studios" are claiming they had access to GW studios 5 months ago and took a bunch of pictures. They also made some statements about what new "codex" are being released with the five books that turned out to be false (saying new-marines were a whole new faction etc.) |
