ya i love tau, that are my first army, i am playing my grey knights more now but thats because im very new and not a very good player so im playing them as a more forgiving army, and once i am able to play better i totally plan on going back to my tau

I greatly appreciate the sentiment but sadly, I have still struggled against the tougher builds of the tougher armies, although I only now have acquired most of the models to field the kind of Tau army I have long wanted to field. In my view, my games in the next few months will give me a much better idea how a truly tough Tau army can fare against 40K's elite codices. I agree entirely, however: Tau still certainly have the tools to give any army pause and can punish a overconfident foe.

.....well it seemed pretty tough to me! (mind you I've never owned the "top armies" so don't really have the experience there!)

With the way GW is going once the new tau codex comes out every tau list is going to be a force to be reckoned with (bolter syphon anyone?).

With the way their tech has advanced before by now they all should have personal force shields and basic troops with rail guns lol
