an exercise in layering buffs to maximum effect.... not sure if this would be good or just "meh"... would fold to close combat easy
Allegiance - Order
Heroes:
Celestial Battlemage on Hurricanum - General, Tenacious, Phoenix Stone - spellcaster, plus gives a 10" buff of +1 to hit. has 12 wounds due to tenacious and heals a wound a turn due to phoenix stone, adds mortal wound shooting and a spell.
Loremaster - hand of glory spell allows something (likely arkanauts - glade guard on arcane bodkins turn) to reroll hit and wounds
Aether Khemist - allows an overlords unit to add 1 to the attacks of one weapon (light skyhooks)
Units:
20 Glade Guard - one turn of -3 rend (21 shots 2+/4+ -3 rend D1 when in range of hurricanum and using that ability) 20 Arkanaut company - 6 skyhooks - hurricanum/khemist 12 24" range 3+/3+ -2 rend D3 damage 5 reavers (fast mobile shooting unit that has extra move either before or after shooting) 5 reavers 5 reavers gryph hound (dares anyone to teleport in as it will let the firebase all shoot at any unit dropping in to say hi)
Highborn bolt thrower Highborn bolt thrower Highborn bolt thrower (these sit behind the Hurricanum and unleash hell)

Basically it uses layered buffs to throw extremely dangerous shooting at 20" -24" range while the reavers chase objectives and clean up chaff.
