Ugh, those new termies and the lord look terrible. Way too jovial and the goop is comical at best.

Primaris LT for DA looks decent. Not $40 decent though.

Is it just me or does the Blood Angels pose kinda scream:
“Here you go champ, don’t go swinging your new sword around too wildly” as he reaches over a tall counter to hand a young scout his very first power sword.

That is super cheap; below are my thoughts on why...
Their tri-tracked ability is nice in that they can move and fire their weapons without penalty, but at (71x2) points they’re not the best bang for the buck in a slot that’s dominated by better choices. I say only because their aura doesn’t work like other auras; they only provide a -1 to hit if the ENTIRE friendly unit is within 7” of them; much like a Venomthrope/Malanthrope I’d imagine. (Shannon, help me out here)
I do like the look of them, they’re really, really cool; however, I feel like they missed the mark pretty hard on their armaments. Keep the multi-melta but toss on the ability to swap for a Plaguespitter (flamer that re-rolls wounds) instead of the hideous bile spurt and a heavy Blight launcher in lieu of the missile launcher. They’d stay the same approximate point cost but you wouldn’t then be forced to advance your heavy weapons platform upfield to be tossed into a situation where they can’t get themselves out of melee.
TL:DR – Cool model but as a unit sucks because its buff doesn’t match what the weapons (that you can’t change) define as its battlefield role.

.... venomthropes/malanthropes do not need the entire unit to be completely within. GW clarified that "within" is part of a model only... "completely within" is the entire unit.
Looks to me like their role is walking behind a unit of plague marines, giving them a -1 to hit bonus (7" bubble is pretty damn big), while firing multi-melta shots over their head with no moving penalty. Bonus first turn covering off Mortarian who's target #1 for an early death by long range anti-tank. That -1 to hit helps a LOT vs. those lascannon/missile launchers

Morty doesn’t benefit, it’s only infantry units; so it doesn’t even benefit from its own aura. A unit of Lascannons can very likely dummy it out with its 8x T7 wounds with only a 5++ then DR keeping it from the scrap pile. Granted, those Lascannon shots are WAY more likely to smack into Morty as he’s more important to stop, but any spare firepower would very quickly get turned on this thing.

8 T7 wounds with a 5++ and DR is more survivable than you'd think vs. lascannons... I find fexes aren't even reliably going down easy to them, and that's with no invul or disgustingly resilient (but getting the -1 to hit at least). Quick math says 12 lascannons = 8 hits = 6 wounds = 4 failed invul = 14 wounds = 9 after DR - so JUST enough to kill it on average dice - That's pretty survivable! (and what crazy person has twelve lascannons???)
probably a good thing Mortarian doesn't benefit from that aura.
