Just a quick FYI - if you didn't get a spot because we filled up and you want to roll the dice (literally) on getting a spot just in case, feel free to contact Nexus to see if you can get on a wait list.
We have actually had someone drop out last minute before... it COULD happen again...
no guarantees that you'd be able to get a spot, but worth the chance if you couldn't get a spot and really want to play.

Thank the gods, my other Scorpius turret finally arrived, two weeks late. 6 weeks in total. Glad I didn't have to last minute try to build one out of styrofoam or something, or else give up 12 tourney points and a lot of offense.

Sorry, I dropped out before early bird so my spot is already gone! On the plus side the way my family has changed since then it's a damn good thing I dropped. Instead of worrying about my wife going into labour 2 weeks early, I'll have a 3 week old son stopping me from playing o.O.

Just a quick rules question I can't find an answer for reading all the FAQs, if a warlord trait says "the Warlord is on the battlefield", is it on the battle field if inside a transport, or does it have to be outside of one?

Just a quick rules question I can't find an answer for reading all the FAQs, if a warlord trait says "the Warlord is on the battlefield", is it on the battle field if inside a transport, or does it have to be outside of one? The model must be physically present on the battlefield; aka, not in a transport.

In transport = not on the Battlefield.
It was buried in the Rulebook FAQ on page 3.
"Q: How do transports work with regards to disembarking units upon the transport’s destruction? A: Disembarking from a destroyed transport operates as follows: 1. If the transport has the Explodes ability (or equivalent) roll to see if it explodes and resolve any resulting damage to nearby units.* 2. All models inside immediately disembark following the standard rules for disembarkation. 3. Roll a number of D6 equal to the number of models disembarked in this fashion. 4. Each result of a 1 yields a slain model, and must be allocated to one of the models which disembarked; the controlling player may choose which model. 5. Remove the destroyed transport model. * Note that if the transport does explode, units being transported are not affected as they are not yet on the battlefield."
In transport = not on the Battlefield.

as above - while transported not on battlefield - so that's also why you can't dispel spells etc. inside a transport.
