What's the general view on using third party models like creature caster. I would be proxying the one I bought for a keeper of secrets which has two different sizes of model's

As long as it's a reasonable stand in (like your goblin cannot be your great unclean one) it certainly isn't a problem at all.
I mean I have an entire smurf army so I can't really say people can't use third party models now can I? lol

I think the biggest thing is that it is easily identifiable as what it is. That's not to say that I mean that it needs to look like the model it is representing. It needs to look unique enough within the army to be able to say, "I know that that is the scary model" or whatever.
In my Emperor's Children army, my cultists are represented by Sisters of Slaughter Dark Elf mins. But they're certainly distinct enough from the Daemonettes that there is no confusion.
