Hello all,
My name's Patrick, and I've been in Kingston since December officially, but due to some super-fun Death Korps of Krieg LARPing in Gagetown, New Brunswick (also known as mud hell), I'm only now just settling down and reassembling my life like so many dropped metal dreadnoughts.
As the title, and my profession in the CAF may imply, I'm a long time Guard player, though my gusto for the IG has dropped somewhat since joining the army (I blame the exposure to chemical warfare and learning how much trench warfare sucks), I still have an exhaustive cadian, Death Korps and Praetorian force alongside about 5k of Horus Heresy loyalists and a burgeoning Custodes force.
I've yet to play a round of 8th, and I'm looking forwards to coming out sometime later this week depending on what's on the docket and getting back into the swing of things, having run a club of about 20 regulars back in BC.
