Though honestly, it looks like somebody supersized a Triach Stalker while slapping the main guns from two Doomsday Arks on its sides.
It would have to have some very useful gimmicks/traits (and be cheaper in comparison) for me not to simply ignore it and go for a pylon instead.

Yeah. What Necrons need are more Super Heavy Vehicles.... I like Canoptek. But... That model looks like I made it in my basement with kit bashing.

This is going to sound like a completely opposite angle, because that is just cool. That makes 2 FW models from the Necrons line that I think are awesome... The Deathshroud and this
I'd hate to know what it's going to cost or do, but does it ever look cool!

the guns preview isn't all that nice so far. Two of those getting an average of 6 shots each, there are other guns in the pictures so I'm hoping it has so longer range option included.

I mean the gun isn't too bad with 2 secondary landing 12 S8 shots, however if this is suppose to be an anti-knight model you neex to get that Str over 9 so its 3's. Id hope since its max range is currently 36' that its primary is something more like a 18' auto hit flamer with consistance damage like flat 3. Its an area that necrons seem to stuggle in. |

Hmm, shorter ranged than the doomsday cannon but S8 AP-3 can damage just about anyone. Seriously, the AP-5 on the DC is overkill since the vast majority of things that have that sort of armor save also have an invul making the extra AP pointless (knights, Primarchs etc).
Also 6d3 shots (considering you have two of these guns) is much better overall firepower than the Ark's gun (1d6). Might be wounding knights etc on fours instead of threes but I got a lot more chances to get past the invul.
Have to wait and see what it's other weapons, defenses and melee capability are before trying to figure out it's potential battlefield role.

combine with triarch stalker for very reliable high strength shooting... if this thing has knight level wounds, quantum shielding and an invul save we're talking extremely dangerous.

Though giving a knight-scale critter QS (particularly if you can use the stratagem to give -1 to rolls on it) would be a very tough war machine. Trying to nickle-and-dime such targets to death is an option but not the fastest one.
Even Helblasters with the Ancient (or whatever character that allows them to fire when dying) are potential prey. Because from what I recall their weapons have a 30 inch range while this bad boy has 36. So sit at max range and unload the barrage of shots (wounding on twos, they only get a six up save and d6 damage each) while the Primaris can't do a thing.
