was just coming to post this and you beat me to it! lol
so...genestealer cult and skitarii in a starter set for a base game? who would have thought THAT would have happened
the terrain looks pretty damn cool at least.
so necromunda without gangs I guess? (going by the Q&A) and a replacement for Shadow War

Full disclosure, I'm a huge sucker for skirmish games, so I am, naturally, hype.
I spent a lot of time with Infinity, Heralds of Ruin, Shadow Wars and so on - necromunda is the only skirmish non-fantasy rulessey that I haven't touched.
Going to run a Death Korps kill team as soon as we see the rules and I can figure out what I have will work.

I'll likely try to pick up the core book. I love skirmish games, and if I can use my already existing 40k models, even better.

Should be interesting. Particularly for people with less time to get in the massive army battles that are the core of 'traditional' 40k. And unlike Necromunda, we can easily use our existing models.

As with shadow war, the box is worth it for the terrain alone!

Yeah with all the terrain pieces the starter box along with the expansion sets, we are going to have tons of it to work with for various types of games. Because from what I saw, said pieces will work just fine for Necromunda and 'normal' 40k as well.
