Yeah I likely run this front line as Novokh 16” movement likely won’t get close combat first turn, but second yes. Run your warlord up in a catacomb command bardge(CCB) with either units reroll charge for first turn charge possibility or with crimson haze for chances of more attacks. Support CCB with a unit of 6 wraiths. The issue with charging with this thing is units will just fall back . But necrons do have damage control overide so it still functions at top stat line.
I’d also run it with the singularity generators. 6D3 shots would work better for 36” than the other weapons. Str 8 -3 ap D6 damage

Last thing I’ll say cause I have to put this down or I’ll go all day.
In close combat this thing would eat a Knight. Stab attack, 6 attacks. Rerolling to hit (Novokh) 5 hits. Wounding str 16 wounds on 2s command reroll odds are 5 wounds. Knights save is versus range for invul. So unless I missed something that 30 flat damage.
Sweep attack 18 hits with rerolls average 16 hits. Str8 vs T8 = 8 wounds -2 ap 5+ save. 5 unsaved at D3 Damage is 5 - 15.
Stab attack it is.
Not going to pre-order one. But might pick one up if price drops...

The flip side of this is the knight going first and doing 18 W to it, but for only 354 pts cause you brought a Gallant. now a 5+ invul does mean some lucky rolling can save your bacon. still at 625 I think you will see some play with this guy but I think your wallet reaction is correct, wait on it to come down or such other means of cheaper models.

IDICBeer 40k has an unboxing video of the Seraptek Heavy Construct up on his channel.
Two takeaways from a quick look-through: 1. This guy will definitely have the same size and heft as most Imperial Knights. 2. Apparently FW is screwing up what weapon selections they send since he wanted the body and both types of guns. Instead he got the body and two copies of the same gun set.

And IDICBeer 40k put up a new video of the SHC showing a completed build and size comparison to several other models.
It looks like there are some interesting possibilities for alternative poses of the model based on leg placement and the guns look dead simple to magnetize. Though you definitely want to only partially assemble this guy before priming/painting.
