Well it’s called Blackstone Fortress so... my guess it’s I type of Necron drone. The purple energy is kinda nice.

There are several prevailing theories in-universe, none of which have been explicitly confirmed (as far as I know). -Created by the Eldar god Vaul to fight the C'Tan -Created by Necrons to suppress warp shtuff. -Created by the Old Ones to fight The War in Heaven Most sources nowadays point to them being ancient Eldar constructs, expecially by the eldar who refer to them as " Talismans of Vaul". The drone thinger looks pretty dang organic to be a necron construct, so I'm not convinced its them. |

link - It's so....beautiful. Between the awesome traitor guard, CSM and the hero characters - with matched play support to port them into regular games to boot, this may have to find it's way into my xmas budget, and I don't even run chaos-y chaos. Screw black legion for the CSM though - I've always held that were I do a proper Chaos army, it's Iron Within, Iron Without. |

why don't they make these boxed set mins in multiples of five though? really like some of these mins but four? really?

It is kind of amusing, nothing in there is a multiple of 5, and I wouldn't be surprised if their rules support is for bespoke squads which match the contents of the box, rather than updated/integrated rules with existing units. |

Well unless they come out with more robots in the faction key word (unless castellen robots have that key word) you can only take him in an auxiliary or if he is hq three in a supreme command detatchement to play in match play. |

We haven't seen the "how to include in regular 40k armies" section yet... I'm sure much like the gellerpox infected book there'll be ways to put it in an army...
... if you know... you actually want one of these things
