Is there any modern-day Wargame out there? by modern i mean everything cold war and after. more recent the better. i know Team Yankee exists but i hate their scale. its too small to be enjoyable, and its very vehicle focused. id like a combined arms kinda thing, where squads of infantry can move up with tank/IFV cover, maybe a chopper flying overhead trying to pick targets off, maybe airstrikes, etc.
Thanks.

It doesn't seem to have it's own line of minis, rather it seems you can just use whatever. Seems like a skirmish level game though, as it focuses on small elite units. Osprey is really good at producing great rules for game systems that allow you to use any minis you want. Most of the ones I am aware of are skirmish games covering everything from basically every genre you can think of.

Ok, I just found something. It's a list of miniature wargames (As opposed to wargames that use tiles or blocks or pips or whatever instead of minis) on Wikipedia. It's divided into categories, such as medieval, fantasy, sci-fi, etc. One of the categories is modern, as in post world war 2. Now, for the most part it's just a list of game names, but I'm sure you could try to google some to see if they're still around/any good. I can't guarantee that they'd have their own line of minis though. Anyway, I hope it helps. Also, if you do end up playing one, whether from this list, or from what you found on your own, let me know. I'm always willing to try a new game, and would be willing to get some of my own if you'd need someone to play against. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_miniature_wargames#Modern
