Well that matches well with the other elite character units such as the Kelermorph. Wonder if she'll be yet another elite or if she's going to be HQ. I'm guessing elite. Also because it's a character behind the paywall of the box set I'm sure she'll be excellent lol.

I am hoping that GSC get the death guard treatment where as a single elite slot you can bring the 3 characters. I think it would be pretty reasonable to make a pack of single character models fill one slot for them. |

People are posting their Shadow Throne box rules. Most early info so far is terrible quality for GSC but nevertheless I'll save you the squinting with my 20/15 superpower.
Patriarch has changed quite a bit. On the plus side he's got a natural 4++ and W7, and cast 2 deny 1. His aura ignores modifiers to combat attrition tests, and probably most importantly he's got the CULT keyword. On the negative side he's S5 T5 and his claws no longer have a bonus to strength, still 3 AP and reroll all wounds and flat 2 damage boosting to 3 on a natural 6 to wound. He can also only take 1 familiar which is just a token for a free psychic test reroll
Magus is cast 2 deny 1, and gives an aura of 5+++ during the psychic phase only. Also limited to one familiar.
Primus got a bump to S4 T4 and interestingly Boneswords are +1S AP-2 D2. Primus aura gives CORE reroll 1s to HIT, and each command phase he can choose one CORE unit nearby to give reroll 1s to WOUND.
Neopyhtes the weapon stats are beyond my 20/15 laser vision, but I can make out that Neophytes can have both 2 specials and 2 heavies per 10 models and the icon reads at D6 models returned for a cult icon for Neopyhtes.
Saboteur does NOT have the Crossfire keyword, but does get BS2+ (and confirmed as an elite slot pick as per the Facebook page). Everything else matches the previews.
There's a bunch of crazy chatter than the Shadow Throne box also continues to have Blips/Conceal/Ambush markers but there's a huge caveat on the same page saying these rules are for playing with the box set only and you need to follow the complete rules in codex GSC so I won't touch too deep on that for now. However they did specifically fix the one-model-outside-your-DZ wording exploit on what is otherwise a reprint/cleanup of the existing rules, and they did split the underground and ambush parts of the rule up to make it a bit more clear what units can do what, but it doesn't change anything by my eye.

well the Patriarch seems a LOT better... I'll take the -1 strength for the cult bonus alone nevermind an extra wound and a 4++!
other stuff seems like a few nice small buffs but not amazing by any means

The Patriarch always had the CULT keyword. It's just that GENESTEALER models couldn't benefit from the Cult Creed.
Hopefully that isn't the case in the new Codex - but hope is the first step on the road to disappointment.
