And they look exactly as lame as you'd expect any vehicle with the word "trike" in it's name to be... I realize GW cares literally zero about my opinion, but I hope they have some better designed vehicles and units for the Squats; otherwise this new faction is going to be really easy to ignore in my opinion.

Bit weird but still far more imaginative in design than the Primaris bikes. Those things are rectangles with wheels. This thing actually looks like it can move over (or hover/fly over technically) terrain more difficult than a paved road. Also from the design of the gun and paint job of the shells, I'd say the weapon the pilot is using is some sort of shotgun (different than what the troopers are using at least) while the mounted weapon (that's actually mounted on the vehicle hull as opposed to the handlebars) seems to be an autocannon or stubber.
Because you can see a muzzle break on the end of the gun and a visible drum magazine connected to it. Though the placement suggests to me that you will have weapon options.

I might be in the minority but I think the trike looks pretty damn cool.

I might be in the minority but I think the trike looks pretty damn cool. And after a bit more digging, the model is apparently equipped with a 'bolt shotgun' and a 'magnacoil autocannon'.
Is there a bolter-style shotgun already in use somewhere? I feel like there is I just can't put a name or model to it.

Astartes Shotgun is closest thijg to a bolter Shotgun Sadly its gone from getting +1S at half range to just being a shorter range bolt carbine

I actually hate the trike less than I thought I would. Seemed pretty likely that it would show up. They have at least managed to avoid giving it the comically low ground clearance that the space marine bikes and go-karts have. But as a rule, three wheeled bikes are terrible.
Still don't love it, but to be fair, this was never going to be an army that grabbed me aesthetically. That said, especially considering their vintage source material, I think that they're doing a good job of updating the "squats".

These look MUCH better than the stupid trikes. It's like a Tau battlesuit and a Dreadnought had a baby. Also there's been a rather fast (and in hindsight, rather obvious) edit to the image.
Be interesting to see what sort of (if at all) equivalent the Votann proper get since this is a Necromunda gang model. Because it would fill the melee monster/light vehicle option for the faction.
Makes sense since both Votann and Imperium tech have the same origins, they just went in different directions.

Though if the Votann have an equivalent, I can see the unit being something like the Space Marine Centurions or Ork Killa Kans. 50 to 60 mm base but you take them in groups as opposed to the single Dreadnought.
Well unless the Votann version is hauling around more firepower than a heavy bolter/flamer and a melee weapon.

Yeah that suit looks far more equivalent to a centurion or paragon warsuit than a dread to me.
It's pretty crazy how fast these are getting revealed... There's more attention being generated around squats than any other remaining 9th books atm

I could see them in units of 3 to 6 or something. And they will probably have a heavier version that is actually dread sized

These look MUCH better than the stupid trikes. How dare you, all the coolest vehicles in warhammer are trikes and the hover hoover is no exception!
