Yep, the return of Squats, kneecaps quake in terror...Their aesthetic looks interesting; but I'm wondering what they're going to add as a race that isn't already present in the other myriad armies.

Did I not wink twice? This is far more elaborate than the "realistically camouflaged stealthsuit", though that one was also pretty good.

Them showing up as a kill team box has been in the big rumour dump that has been basically bang on with everything since before Christmas.
Theyve been getting mentioned increasingly in little throw away lines and fluff text over the last couple years, and have even shown up in necromunda...so it does seem like they are trying to ease them back into the setting.

and what a good April Fool's joke if it's REAL and they put it up assuming everyone will think it's joking!
...naw, it's just a joke... lol
but the video was funny so I thought I'd share it.

Yeah, they had a "squat" clock when the "plastic sister" clock fell off the wall when the re-launch of Sisters was announced a while ago. I mean... does 40k really need space dwarves? Maybe?... It might be like what Disney is doing in their shows. Add in a new character/element, gauge fan reaction to the snippet; then proceed further if there's overwhelming response.

To be fair Rick & Morty basically broke the collective internet's mind a few years back when they _ACTUALLY_ cold dropped the first episode of the season on april fools day and reddit user's went temporarily insane trying to spread the word.

Am I the only one who hung on to metal squat figs? Got some infantry and bikes boxed up in the basement. Scale would be off but that isn't necessarily an issue, is it?
