I hate to say it, but if they're going live action anything involving marines can't be the core narrative if you want this thing to last. Marines look cool, but let's face it unless you are looking at a few specific characters they are lacking in qualities you can develop over a tv series. It's a great way for it to end back up on the shelf instead of kickstarting a whole series of shows.
They can be there for sure, but if you want to cover something like HH the world needs to be established to normal people first before you dive deep into the lore and try to set up an MCU.
That said, Warmaster Cavill was the first thing I also thought about when I saw the announcement and I thought it would be amazing.
