Hey just clicked into BCP to get my pairing and it says the event hasn't started yet?
Did I get my dates wrong or are we waiting for something?

Yes! Since we use a handle on the forum I'm listed as the player (David McCarey) but it is actually my son Tommy- going to see if I can get that fixed. So let me know Ben when you want to connect up for a game. We are avaliable this weekend either Sat or Sunday

And so it begins!
I had to "check in" a couple people to get the pairings going. Hopefully they are still keen to play, because I instantly forgot which two people it was.
I took the "bye" this round to let everyone else get started. That said if there is a period where you know you will be away, let me know and I will try to fudge the pairings to give you the bye that round. I'm realizing between BCP and forum names it might be a bit harder to track people down. So I will edit the first post with peoples first names and factions from BCP, which will hopefully make it easier.
Good luck everyone with your games this round, and if you have any issues send me a message, and I will help sort it out.

When we give you results do you need a total score for each player or is this a win/loss round only?

The pairings will be done by win-loss first, but if you can record battle points that can be used as a tie-breaker for the league.

@ Iain @ Max I saw you guys had an after action report. Just a reminder that if you go into BCP then select pairing and click on your game. There is an option to report the score. You enter who went 1st and final score and then it asks you for each players pin so that the score can't be entered unless both players agree but one person can enter both pins.
I know that needs to be entered before the next round to help with match making.

Just remembered it. So I can't submit without the other player's PIN. Should we be sharing pins? Seems weird.

you need the other peorsons pin to be able to enter scores so you'll need to share it. I think you can can change it between games if that makes you more comfortable about it. |
