It looks to be a step up in size from the Contemptor Dreadnaughts. It's in this months FW newsletter.

The rules are posted on the site and it seems impressively difficult to kill. Nicely customizable too.

According to the rules it can be used at an Elite slot for CSM or Daemons.
It's Possessed (which iirc means it ignores shaken/stunned) and has Unholy Vigor which gives it a 5+ roll each turn to come back after suffering a "Destroyed - Wrecked" result. So ya, pretty tough to stop/kill.

It definitely excels at ripping open transports with those rules for it's siege claws, or otherwise you can get between 6-10 S6 AP3 shots with you go double storm lasers, but it's not exactly as survivable at a second look.
Unholy Vigour is cool, but there's an equal chance of rolling a 1 as there is a 6, unless you're going Nurgle with the stock double siege claws, seems like it'd be the best choice for 170 points... but then you'd need a Nurgle IC, and really who does that?
But yeah. WS3, BS3, I3 and 11 armour on sides (and rear, that's a bonus) makes it as expensive as a Dreadnought with lower stats, adding a few cool weapon options...eeeeh. Really, I can see buying them just for the badass model, for it is exceptionally badass, but not much else.

ummm I like the model... it's very cool... I own a daemon army and yes this would add fantastic utility for a marginal cost... it's at first glance pretty damn imbalanced... "for each claw that is replaced"... so yeah, 8 S8 shots from a dread who ignores weapon destroyed results on a 5+... on and 1/6 times you return from the dead? really?
and you thought psyflemen were bad!
I can see why these are "experimental" rules..... (as in, no one will let you play with them!)

Well if you do that Shannon its pretty expensive 195pts and you have I3 and 11 side and back wich its pretty easy to destroy... its still good but not overpower I think... Do I have to remember you psy Dread ignore crew shaken and stun to and 1/6 its only if you dont have an explode... anyways we will see I will love to have this official so I can finally change my Daemon list and have effective shooting other then tzeentch chariot...
