updated 2014 GW release schedule from Faeit:
"The schedule for 2014 is taking shape as January comes to a close, and it looks like a lot of the rumors have toned it down some, and adjusted. In this rumored bit, Space Wolves, have been replaced by Blood Angels which has been rumored here on Faeit 212 for several months now.
Please remember that this is a rumor. It does sound very much like what we have been hearing lately.
Dont forget that added to this, we have rumors of two new box sets for Chaos Marines/Chosen and Havoc, a Chaos Marine Supplement hitting in the beginning of Summer, and the the latest rumors have Orks a solid June release.
via Larry Vela on Bols *** January - Tyranids (Out) February - Dwarfs (Sighted in the weekly White Dwarf cover) March - Imperial Knights (Supported with White Dwarf and Dataslate rules support) April - Imperial Guard (said to be renamed a la the Sister codex to Astra Militarum) May - Wood Elves June / July - Orks, Warhammer 40,000 "not 7th" book July / August - Warhammer Fantasy 9th (book, or boxed set - unknown details) September - Warhammer 40,000 "not 7th" (Boxed Set) October - Blood Angels November - WFB Army (Bretonnia getting the most chatter) December - Hobbit - Holiday Bundles"

more information from Faeit on what the next seven months look like... pretty busy actually! The thing I'm most surprised about is Empire... It seems like they just got a new book and new models... what about Brets? so I'm hoping that this is a mistake and it's actually the Brettonians... "So what are the next 6-7 months going to look like? We are going to start off with Wood Elves next month, followed by Warhammer 40k 7th edition. Orks and Campaign stuff fill out the rest of summer with Fantasy 9th edition arriving in the fall followed by Blood Angels and then Empire. Of course a lot of smaller releases can and will be happening along side these, as we are on a weekly release schedule right now. The next few months are going to be very interesting to be sure. Please remember that these are rumors, although is coming from a good source. via an anonymous source on Faeit 212 Release Schedule May-Wood Elves June- 7th edition July-Orks August-Campaigns September-Fantasy 9th edition starter and book October-Blood Angels November-Empire and Caverns of Screams (scenario book) "

"With all this talk about the new edition of Warhammer 40k, its important not to miss out on the other releases going on in Warhammer Fantasy. This morning we have a look at a schedule for Fantasy that is from a reliable source here on Faeit 212.
Please remember that these are still rumors.

That's what it seems like best guess... the intriguing rumour for me is the undead and chaos being combined again.... not sure if this is in any way accurate, but it's interesting nonetheless....

Well there were rumors before of them consolidating books, so perhaps they are just doing a first wave with the Chaos and Undead in their own books, with rules on what units can go in what armies within the book. I wouldn't be surprised if they did an Elves book as well in the future along the same lines of "common theme".

It could boost sales if you can mix armies within the same book and represent some kind of coalition force. "You mean I can put High Elves in my Wood Elves? Sure I'll buy some!!" Unbound coming to Fantasy perhaps?

From Faeit:
"It seems the softcover releases of both Endtimes Books, Nagash and Glottkin, will be coming just after Christmas. According to this bit, it also means no more hardback releases for the two books.
Please remember that these are rumors. via an anonymous source on Faeit 212 I know its nothing major but the end times books Nagash and Glottkin will be re-released as soft backs just after Christmas. This will mean there will be no more hard backs for them. "
