I was thinking of just ordering the Whirlwind turret ones anyway and making my own base for them. Saves 5 pounds each...
I'd love to use them at the tourney, but I won't be able to get them here in time.

At least I can hope to not get scheduled the first game and then be content that I'll probably lose my way out of playing him! You guys win this edition!

I more afraid of playing you then Tom Shannon my list should be able to handle Tom... Im bringing a better list because I think that tournament will be more competitive then last one...

Oh well if everyone concedes that means I win, right? Default~
And what gives you the idea it's going to be any different from the usual tournament?

Maybe I'll get lucky like at the 5th ed closer and manage to win a ton of games with my silly fluff list again.....

....wait, if I concede is there going to be a bar like last time where I can get a drink? hmmmmmm I don't think this tourney is going to be any more competitive or with harder lists than any other tourney... ...although I think we might see a fair bit of chaos players given the new hotness of the dragon and that people have had some time to get their armies built...

That's my one concern is that there's going to be double dragon everywhere...my list was conceived before it existed, and really doesn't pack enough anti-flyer against things that can just vape my bike squads.

double dragon is scary, I'm not saying it isn't... however it's not insurmountable... the biggest pain I found playing it was that my flying tyrant was a prime candidate for two AP3 vector strikes... with only four wounds it didn't take much of anything else to knock me out of the sky (another AP2 hit) and when I tried to retaliate against rear armor with twin linked 12 S6 shots I didn't hit... even once! (I was snapfiring, but still!) so it would have been FAR less deadly if I could have taken it out and saved my tyrant but sometimes your dice just say no! lol... two is rough... and you have to bring something to threaten fliers... the days of ignoring them completely I think are over.... but at least they're only blasting you for about three turns of the game... lol... gotta look on the bright side

I have two TL Lascannon skyfire interceptor + 2 S8 AP3 TL skyfire interceptor missiles + a bunch of TL Melta with my IH so I hope I can deal with them... for my WB I change my list to fit in Fateweaver listen to Ray and Shannon to unleash the beast again

Honestly, in 6th there's some serious toughness in building a 2k list, as several people predicted, 2k has become the new 1500 in regards to army balance. I would have to say while not every book is top tier, every single book out there has viable and competitive builds, and I'm willing to bet as the metagame starts to settle we will see new "unorthodox" builds crop up as people wake up from their 5th ed mindsets into 6th.
The biggest thing, in addition to all of the normal bases that need to be covered in list these days (Scoring, Redundancy, Firepower, Mobility, Redundancy, etc..), you now need to cover several combinations of primary capabilities, as well as secondary capabilities (Anti-Flyer, Anti-Rock, Anti-Horde, Anti-Hero, etc..) It's a lot to fit in to a list, and chances are, you will have to give yourself a weakness to give yourself a strength. These are all signs of a balanced metagame, and I think people will be far more willing to break the mold and think outside the box.
6th is an interesting edition so far, and I've had probably 10x more fun playing than I did in 5th.
