I'd rather the 6's because I do want to be happy to see the symbol, also I think the symbol is rolled more since it weighs the least, danny how many ones did you roll with your custom dice?

If the custom dice don't roll fairly then you can't use them

This reminds me that I need to buy some dice for the Scars. Keep up with my "set of dice per army" thingy.

If the custom dice are made correctly they don't wind up weighted.

You're not allowed to use normal dice, the uneven amount of pips mean the dice are weighted!
I suppose you only roll casino dice?

I suppose you only roll casino dice? Cus casino dice aren't weighted, right? One thing to note about weighted dice, is that you would be able to tell people are rolling them, very easily in fact. (I'm speaking from experience here) You'd notice the dice rolling funny, like suddenly falling sideways instead of forwards, they would roll on funny angles, and such. Basically you'd be looking at the dice being rolled and thinking "wtf? are these dice alive or something?", not to mention how obvious it would be that your getting creamed (think about how badly games go when your opponent seems to roll nothing but 5s and 6s) Normal dice pips have so little material taken out of them, that it doesn't affect the center of balance. What can upset a die's balance the most, is a crack. Dice are suppose to translate any impact energy into momentum, and a crack in a die would reduce it's ability to do so. Even tried to bounce a defective golf ball? It's like trying to bounce a beanbag. Cracked dice are prone to similar effects.

....and casino dice are far less random... they're made to be rolled across an area... too easy to be "dropped" onto the right numbers... that's why no major tournament that I know of allows them....
(and casinos don't let you drop them in front of you... lol)

I'm well aware that craps dice are random only because they are thrown down the entire table, and bounce off a specially textured wall.
Not to mention the edges absolutely destroy regular tables. I shudder to think of the effects casino dice would have on terrain foam.

Wait, which face are we changing? I'd prefer 1's because most of my dice replace the 1's
and my preferred 2d6 pair replaces the 1's

I prefer the 6's be replaced as you want something cool and different to come up when it's good, not bad.

there will be swag... it will not be dice....
Chessex were uncooperative... strange when you try to give people money... you'd think they'd be a little more willing to take it...
if you don't have dice (I find this statement strange but from what Harry said it sounds like he actually doesn't have dice) you need to get some before or at the tourney...
you can't play without dice...
you will also need any templates you need to play and a measuring device as well...
