Club Championship Question 1 - Swag?

November was my target to start narrowing down some of the details for the upcoming club championship 2013 in February (time period is looking at reading week so our university buddies can all make it back for it!)

Time frame I was hoping for:

November - decide on details
December - sign up begins and player pack prepared (PDF download)
January - ordering / printing
February - last minute details

It's a big job, and I'm hoping to give myself a little more time (as believe it or not, two months last time was a little rushed at times!)

So First question I have to all of you (whether you're planning on attending or not please give your feedback)

What kind of swag would you like to receive?

Last year we did t-shirts, and now that I "got a guy" we could do that again if everyone wanted.

Other options I've considered:

1. Hats or mugs with logo like last year

2. custom dice cubes given to everyone who attends (chessex makes them where you're allowed to customize either the "one" or the "six") Also means everyone has dice for the tourney!

Bascially the floor is wide open... but I'd love to hear any creative or just plain cool ideas for what you'd like to receive for your hard earned entry fee! (everyone registered would get this swag!)

I really like the dice idea its a very cool idea!

Also is it possible to have a firm date so military buddy coming from 12h drive can book their vacation right now oh and myself too book friday and monday off so its a whole 4days of gaming for us haha...

I like the idea of a mug, and maybe like 3 or 4 dice per player. I think the dice brick is cool, but if everyone has similar dice it could get confusing.

is this for 40k or fantasy? I probably wont have a fully non-proxied army, but I'd love to watch

I like the dice idea too, although matt has a good point. Still your not normally rolling all your dice in the other guys deployment zone. Yeah I'd go for dice. If dice is not a go I'd rather have the money go into more prize support than T-shirts or hats (although the T-shirts were well done last year).

I could always use some new dice, but only if you promise they will roll better for me Shannon than my current ones ;D

I'm always open to T-shirts as well.

This would be for 40k... fantasy just doesn't have enough regular players to make such a big tourney worthwhile....

and you've still got months to go... get painting and I'm sure you can get a force together!

.... for dice bricks as well they wouldn't have to all be the same colour.... chessex allows any of their range (almost all are the same price) to have the custom side....

Dice--always good.
Mug--I drink a lot of tea.
Dogtags--at a Lost Tourney a few years back they gave dogtags to participants, engraved with the tourney info and a Khorne rune. I still have mine even though I'm no fan of Khorne!
T-shirts--personally, meh.

Except at those points the games go by way too fast. We could probably play 6 games on the first day at those points... It's still like 3 full months away.

I like dice, i have like 10 or so packs of dice i dont even use but i still get more as some people who play me in f40k might see as i pull out 3 or 4 packs and those are the ones i have opened yes "my name is Jason and im a dice-o-holic" so you know where my vote is. I do like the mug idea, but i have the t-shirt from last year and i wear it once in a while but its just in with all my other shirts.
