Long has been the time of waiting and hoping to be released from the never ending void of nothingness. An essence of floating thoughts and distant memories, intangible and hazy like a drifting cloud, wondering if he would ever again feel the warm of the baking sun or the sand under his feet. In the distance he becomes vaguely aware of a growing point of light and a pulling of his entity towards it. The memories of the warrior prince slowly become less distant and he begins to remember the reasons for he imprisonment. The old feelings of anger and hatred return in a flood of emotion as he burst out into the light. It has been but a few hours since the High Liche Priest had summoned him, and now, here he was on bended knee, bowing low before the Almighty Tomb King Settra himself. Luckily, the king could not see the anger in his face at being treated with such distain, like a commoner. “Rise Kerkutf” stated the king. Settra looked down upon the once high lord and general with little acknowledgement. “You, Kerkutf, have been awoken from your eternal rest to once again do my bidding.” His newly reformed muscles tightened at the statement. The king smiled as he noted his reaction. “To the south past the just beyond the Great Desert of Araby lays a settlement into which a growing number of races have begun to take refuge”. “You are to determine their intent and guard the borders of Nehekhara”. “A legion of mounted warriors will accompany you”. Questions, so many, yet dare I speak?“My spies have also heard rumours of another arena battle thought to be in the area to which you are being sent”. What have I to loose that I have already not! ‘Thank you my uncle…err my King”. “And if I am challenged?” “Then on behalf of the realm you are to accept, and Kerkutf, fail my not this time!” “For I have instructed the priests to make your death “final”, leaning forward from this golden throne and grinning all the wider, “and let that be your incentive, this time!” “Now go!” “So it be said!” “So shall it be written!” Quickly he left the palace, trying to puzzle out this strange turn of events. Why chose me, he thought, why not cousin Bob of Numas. He was always the foolhardy one! Hmmm! Kerkutf leaped into his golden chariot, gave a quick glance to the troops and gave the sign to march forward. This time he thought, things will be different. High above the ramparts, a lone figure stands quietly on the balcony watching the legion depart the great city of Khremi. A tear runs down her embalmed cheek. Prince Kerkutf Chariot Hand weapon Shield Sword of Striking Armour of Fortune Luckstone Potion of Strength total = 238 Not a powerhouse for sure but hopefully he'll get past round one.....of not.

I just thought I'd point out that you can't take 2 items of the same catagory (in this case Magical Armour) so it's either the Enchanted Shield or the Armour of Fortune

Uther Di Asturien
Thought to be a descendant of Gilles Le Breton himself, Uther Di Asturien has completed his quest for the Grail at an early age. Motivated by the death of his dear friend and arms trainer in battle, his hatred toward the Greenskins lay deep. Uther is a living legend in Bretonnia. No one dare speak ill of him, and the stories about him are extraordinary.
One such story takes Uther to the battlefield near the Forest of Loren; it is said that Uther was visited by the mythical Green Knight after defeating 12 Orcs while on foot, carrying a mere peasant's sword. Uther carries such grace, wisdom and courage with his combative dance that he captivates in an awe-like trance to anyone who can see him. Uther was able to rally the nearby fleeing troops, and destroy the oncoming horde. Some say his courage saved all of Bretonnia that day.
Upon his breastplate, Uther bares the bones of the best of his fallen foe, woven into his armour like trophies. Uther carries a pouch made of greenskin leather and a knife who's handle is whittled from the bone of a savage Orc. In the pouch is said to be the remains of his enemy after they are burned in celebration by the cheering Bretonnian peasants.
When Uther enters a room, it matters not whom is already there; everyone stops to gaze as his grandeur. Uther has such presence, that his words echo in the minds of whom he spoke. "We shall not fall, for we are victorious in every battle. A knight who upholds his vows can never be broken!"
Looking to claim further glory for himself, his homeland and Bretonnia; Uther has decided that his fate lie in the Arena of Death, for he cannot find it on the battlefield.
It is Uther's greatest desire, that he face an enemy worthy of striking him down, so that he may die with honour.
Bretonnian Lord + Warhorse
Vow taken +Grail Vow (Immune to psychology, always starts with the Blessing of the Lady) - 28
Magic Items +Sword of Heroes (+1 Strength, D3 Wounds vs Toughness 5+) - 35 +Grail Shield (+1 To Armor Save, Blessing Ward Save is 4+) - 35 +Mantle of the Damsel Elena (Poison and Killing Blow have no special effect against the bearer) - 20

Kha-Cho-Lot runs though the swamp and jungle for days. Eating what ever he comes across not knowing where he is going but some how knowing with every step he is closer to getting to where he needs to be. The old ones must be leading him somewhere is what he decides and he submits to is fully not that he would resist much with the restlessness upon him.
He comes across lands that he know and some he doesn't or if he does he does not remember. Fighting and strategy is all he knows and all he cares to remember. He keeps going never tiring.
Till he sees it. The place he needs to be, a large ruin of some place he knows not. Even in all the years he has been alive this place is far older. Maybe a place of the old ones them selves who knows but he knows he must go here for the old ones. Kill all those who oppose the old ones order.
As he scopes out the ruins he can see many shifting about them, some of the order of the old ones, and some against. And some who have not picked a side yet.
He takes their measure, all the ones he has seen any way as he walks through the ruins. Some must have seen him, how could they not with being 8 feet tall but none have attacked and although the restlessness is upon him he had not felt the compulsion to attack any, like they are all waiting for something.
His mind works as he watches and takes them in. Strategies form and he quickly realizes that many are very powerful in their own right, he feel confident that he could kill any in one on one combat but they may gang up on him. In that case he may need an ally. But that can wait till the time comes, he can feel it, soon yes soon he will be able to kill those against the order of the old ones.
He then awoke and shook his head, trying to get his bearing. He had made camp for the night and that was when he had a dream of going to the ruin he needed to be. Now he knew how to get there, and knew there would be others to fight here. He wondered if the ones he saw in his dream would be there also. It didn't matter, he headed for the ruins as fast as he could, he needed to get there before what ever everyone in the dream were waiting for to star the fighting.

i was just playing around with characters in the army builder, one that got bonuses and i think the empire 20 points over the magic limit might be a little over powered. and they have an item that probably should be on the baned list.
Maybe not tho but you can make a General of the empire on a pegasus with sword of Righteous steel ( always hit on a 2+) (the item i think should be banned cause there is items for other races that do the same thing that are banned) EDIT 2+ can't be modified Armour of Meteric iron (1+ armour save can't be enhanced further) Holy relic (4+ ward save) and a potion of strength (+3 to str for one round) 250 points with 120 points in magic items.
what do others think? Is it as overpowered as i think?

can't be modified doesn't mean by strength lowering your armor save, you just can't get it better than that.... dwarf lords can easily get a 1+ AS... and can make it rerollable too!
