It all sounds pretty good. The escalation rate might be a bit fast for those who prefer to play with painted models, though.

But you'd don't really need many models for this game.. So you'd only need to paint 7/10 or so models depanding on your list's .

Well we can also just stretch out the time between point values and etc. I can definitely see the argument for time. While straight expansion of your list is fine, some people may prefer doing a 300 point list differently than their 150 point list. For example, if you're playing a sectorial you may want to bring in a more elite link team at 300 that you'd never be able to field at 150. That'd be quite a few more models to paint up.

I agree that 2 weeks might not be that much time to do up the models you may want. I was just throwing an option out there. We can always make it a bit longer.
I totally see Magictripes issue with different army list.
I have 300 points of panO painted but I would play them different at all point levels.
I say we set a firm date for everyone to meet up on a Friday and discuss and play a few 150 point games.
That way we can come to some agreement on things. Also, it can be difficult for Nexus to get models in depending on what they are. I want to do a Christian themed list, but some models are hard to get.
Lets pick a date to meet up, I say 3 Jan 2014. Or 10 Jan 2014. Either works for me.
Thoughts?

Right then, Friday 10 Jan 2014 those that are interested can meet at 6pm or so to discuss infinity for the year. I think we will get about 8 of us. if everyone shows up that night. See you all then.

I'll bring my stuff too so we can play a game or two. Plus some terrain I will leave at the store.

I'm working nights on the 3rd, so the 10th works great for me.

Work wasn't very busy over the holidays so I took a look into this.
It is quite interesting, I will admit. The Nomad Intruders have a look I quite like; and some of those Aleph models are cool too.
It's a shame I really don't have any time for a new game.

I forgot I have a work function tonight so I won't be able to make it.
I dropped off a bunch of crates to Mike at Nexus also if you need more terrain. They just need to have 4 slits cut into them and folded.

Yeah, good games, and neither one of us playing Haqq this time around. Definitely looking forward to next Friday.
I honestly expected the rules to be much more of a challenge but the worst thing about them turns out to be the absence of an index in the rulebook.
Oh, and AD is very scary.
