I'm finally done with the sculpting on the Nurgle Sorcerer and have attached his voodoo dolls. He'll get primed then will sit anxiously awaiting January as he'll be my 40k single model entry in the Golden Brush. His robes were hand laid in green stuff over the base figure, his backpack is a trimmed down Poison Wind Globadier from the Skaven range, his "feet" are from Ephramaki (special character from Wrath of Kings) and the voodoo dolls were leftover pilots I had from an old Gundam model I bought for parts back in Korea. The base body was a House Shyeel Artificier from Warmachine, I saw the model a LONG time ago and just liked the motion and thought I could do something cool with that basic flow in mind. Attachments:

I love the voodoo dolls, they're creepy as all get out and very appropriate to your handle

Are those from the dust stuff? I look at that an instantly see soul grinders... you could always build and paint an entire KDK army and have the chaos dex you deserve  |

Yeah, all the Axis dust tanks have the same base legs, just different tank “Pods” that go on top. I picked up 5 for as much as a single tank via Fantasy Flight Game’s big sale. Shipping and import taxes included it was still less than the cost of two previous ones.
I’d consider running KDK if I didn’t just despise Khorne as a Chaos faction. Not sure why I could just never get into Khorne or Slannesh. At first I didn’t even like Nurgle, it was Tzeentch or nothing until early on in 4th when I got more into more painting and converting.

It's interesting, Khorne immediately drew me, red, metallic and uncompromising. I appreciate the work that goes in to Nurgle models, but I've never been able to sell myself on the aesthetic. |
