I ordered a bunch of MDF terrain last week. It should show up soon, but I don't know if it'll be enough to cover a whole table. It is multi-level buildings and stairs, though.

The terrain would still be suitable to add on to what we have.

But it was only for one table, more or less. It won't come close to making four themed tables.

Well I generally meant a combination of things. We'll see how it goes. Jae Lin has a lot of unassembled things as well.

I am certain if we took a bunch of forests we could make a cool forest and hill theme. I mean that sorta thing is gonna happen with a crashed space ship or something like that.
I think Comd 0 terrain idea is a great idea for one table.
I am certain we could get a least 4 tables with enough terrain. I know blocking LoF is important but if we have lots of terrain on the table it will all work out.
I have been playing a lot of games at home and I have found that even with forests and hills and a few buildings it can still be a challenging game. Just my thoughts.

If I wanted to play Aleph at around 200pt about how much stuff past the starter box would I have to pick up?

I'm tempted to suggest something like this ALEPH────────────────────────────────────────────────── GROUP 1 8 0 0 DEVA (G: Synchronized) Combi Rifle, Nanopulser+Devabot / Pistol, Knife. ( 27) DEVABOT Heavy Flamethrower / Electric Pulse. DEVA Lieutenant (G: Synchronized) Combi Rifle, Nanopulser+Devabot / Pistol, Knife. ( 26) DEVABOT Heavy Flamethrower / Electric Pulse. NAGA Combi Rifle, Monofilament Mines / Pistol, Knife. ( 32) ASURA Hacker (Hacking Device Plus) Combi Rifle, Nanopulser / Pistol, AP CCW. (0.5 | 77) DAKINI Tacbot HMG / Electric Pulse. (1 | 22) NETROD Electric Pulse. ( 4) NETROD Electric Pulse. ( 4) NETROD Electric Pulse. ( 4) 1.5 SWC | 196 PointsOpen with Army 4Which would require the deva blister/box and the support one as well. That would give you a really hardy objective taker in the form of the Asura, forward deployment with the naga, and some other attackers. My only problem being that this list is lacking in regards to more powerful offensive weapons. That being said, your offensive platforms are resilient as hell. However, I'm sure there are better 200 point lists that require just as few purchases. On a quick glance of the forums this list in this post here seems okay, but you'd have to pick up the rules for the Aleph Proxy unit rules as well as a few other things. The lieutenant is also super obvious.

As an addendum, I think the four scenarios should be chosen ahead of time so people can build their lists with them in mind.

I agree that picking the scenarios ahead of time would be a good idea. Maybe if we just played the first 4 from ITS that would work. Just my thoughts. I mean really all you need is a hacker and Engineer and some medium fighting troops and things should be ok.

Sure, let's say that. First four ITS scenarios are likely to be the ones we use for the tournament.

Cool. I'd be down for that. Regarding the 200pts Aleph list, The Steel Phalanx offers good possibilities. With the starter box and a couple blisters, you can get a decent force with a lot of personality. There was a feature on Beasts of War with just such a list a while back: www.beastsofwar.com/infinity/battle-box-infinity-aleph/

Next time I am down I will bring the ITS scenario pack. That way people can get an idea of what the first 4 scenarios are like.
Kind of excited for this. I have been playing a lot of infinity lately and it only gets better and better the more I play.

Indeed it does.
The scenery I ordered is waiting for me at the post office. I'll definitely have it built, if not painted, before next Friday.

So, in the interest of keeping things all above board, full disclosure and what not... and to not pull a Galleon... I will be attempting to play Shasvasti whenever I actually do get to play, and likely not Morats.

When you mentionned the first four scenios in the booklet, did you mean these?
Lifeblood Quadrant Control Beacon Race Antennae Field
Some of them seem a bit... iffy to me. Overly complex objectives that no one would be able to comple at our level.
I'd rather suggest, on the one hand, Annihilation (Low-tier), coupled with either Frontline or Quadrant Control (All of them killy scenarios, rendered more interesting by the use of Secret Objectives) and, on the other hand, Supplies and possibly Seize the Antennae (two scenarios that are more specialist-based without weing overly complicated).
Also, what are your thoughts on the use of Spec-ops?
