C'tan power seem cool. Choosing a target before knowing what you're shooting at it will hurt though on a model that expensive.

When have you ever built your lists to include AA Shannon? I thought it was always a bi-product of wanting other things. lol.

Don't know what I think of the S10 Lance Blast for the death ray. But it sounds like the transcendence ctan Is not a gargantuan creature so that's a plus. All those states changes are plus not one is negative vice tesla. So I would be curries to know what gets turned down. Still don't know what codex I will bringing to the championship, old or new.

given what has leaked thus far, you'd be crazy to do the old codex in my opinion ...oh and FYI - bringing the old codex does not allow you to circumvent how Tesla works now... the Tesla rule has changed, so any "old" tesla will still not generate extra attacks on snap shooting... this was always a "contested" feature of the old codex where by RAW you could still do it, however GW have clarified pretty explicitly that's not the case...

Looks pretty standard for a 7th ed book....some cool options but a lot of the "broken" stuff from previous books got toned down. Res Orb got smacked pretty hard, and Mindshackle Scarabs got the Runes of Warding treatment - from Auto-Include to Never Include.
I wonder if they're going to pick up Skyfire now that ground-based Tesla isn't an option, or if their anti-air will be straight up from Croissants now?

From the look of things it's croissants... which frankly I've never really been a fan of so I want to avoid... but maybe that's just because of all the late 5th edition hate leveled against cron-air
sentry pylons have skyfire... but they're akin to taking a bastion with icarus... kinda meh

Read a rumour earlier today that Reanimated Protocols (RP) work after each unsaved wound. Similar TO FNP. So destroyers who now have 2 wounds. They'll have 2 chances ect. The RP can never be lower than 4+
Also that the dicuion formation gives +1 to all RP as a command benefit.
... so combine that with the formation benefit of rerolling one's. .. Necrons are still hard to kill...
Looking forward to Friday.

Yep, everything I've seen thus far says that it is one of those saves that's not a save thing like FNP, so you make it right away... this is HUGE given necron stellar I2. So you actually have a chance to strike back if you make your reanimations, whereas before you just had a chance to have some guys stand up after - and the risk of a failed leadership meaning all those guys were lost.
plus I hated laying painted models down on some of those rougher surfaced tables.
I need more destroyers... like as many as I can fit in a list... loved these guys before... now I love them exactly 2.3957 times as much (gotta be specific given they're crons)

Am I correctly reading that the whole army will have a re-rollable 4+ save that can be taken after regular saves? If so....wow. Starting point for any list should be about 100 Warriors.

not exactly if what I've heard is right (but haven't seen the actual book yet so this is JUST based on rumors)... reanimation can't go above 4+ but will still be normally 5+... res orbs are confirmed to be one use only... so yeah, for ONE turn it works... and is more often a 5+ rerollable for one turn.

There is a lot of images out there now from the new Necron Codex to take a look at. From Destroyer Lords, Command Barges, and quite a bit that you will want to check these out before the new codex hits in a couple days. Here is the link that you need. www.facebook.com/ForgeTheNarrative?ref=hl

NO MORE TESLA SNAPFIRE RAPING EVERYTHING. THERE IS A GOD.
Also the clarification that the shielding doesn't effect the rear armor, though that was pretty much un-needed imo.
