Via Spikey Bits just now…
“Looks like Games Workshop may have let the cat out of the bag way too early by tinkering with their website earlier today.
Faeit 212 is reporting that someone noticed all the Necron models being out of stock and then re-appearing about 15 minutes later.
Seems fishy indeed I guess. Maybe the web dept was getting a jump on their programming perhaps?
What do you think? We’re down to Blood Angels and Necrons, which will it be first?
Personally my money’s on Necrons as GW loves them some Xenos releases during the end of the year time! –MBG”

they've had the website issue before... normally doesn't herald anything...
I've heard blood angels are next for 40k, after some end-times love for fantasy... however there've been surprises of course...
Given Necrons aren't really in need of any kits they may just get the grey knight treatment I'm guessing... I've also heard that a model release is going to be a plastic necron lord but that's about it.

Well this rumour indicates that necrons are actually next now... timing for me is a little suspect, as in why would you release something to go out the day AFTER Christmas (and don't say boxing day, they're British!) but I guess anything is possible with the GW release schedule. From what this is saying, I might be getting a new completely nerfed codex with no new models for my birthday... ummm thanks? This is from Faeit, but original source is Spikey Bits: "Could the Necron codex really have pre-orders up before Christmas? Well these rumors have pre-orders coming next week, and there are a little bit of information regarding the rules for them as well. Please remember that these are rumors. via anonymous source over on Spikey Bits spikeybitsblog.com/2014/12/40k-rumors-necron-codex-in-december.htmlCodex Necrons: Schedule Crammed into the GW schedule right before the new year. Pre-orders Dec. 19th Street date: Dec 26th Models Little to no new models (a la Grey Knights) Rules Look for Nerfs to the following: Doom Scythes Night Scythes Tesla will get an overhaul to their rules. Deathray will receive a big overhaul to how it targets models. Characters remain fundamentally unchanged. The Stormlord will recieve a Necron themed orbital bombardment of some type once per game. Warlord Traits are good with some granting individual units USRs, while another listed granted an improved version of Reanimation Protocols Standard caveats apply, but this is from a very reliable anonymous source."

Tesla should be fine so long as it doesn't activate with Snapfire. I'm pretty sure things with Twin-Linked Tesla average more hits when snap shooting than when firing at full BS.

so basically my normal necron list gets a better warlord table and troops get to reroll reanimation rolls of 1 for free? ummm... okay... thanks GW
not really sure what the "downside" to this formation is...

not really sure what the "downside" to this formation is... It's not the formation, it'll be that reanimation only works on 6 now, lol.

I like the restriction for that. Tesseract Vaults can NOT be taken with that formation... hmmm... darn.

Via BoLS this morning... If they're true I'm sorry Shannon...
"Necron rumors I heard are pretty dire, shop worker who is a close friend of mine got this info while he was up hq for some training purposes last week.
Gauss will now on a roll of a six be double strength against vehicles so rifles str8, the immortal ones str 10 instead of auto glancing.
the stand back up rule is gone now all necrons have a 5+ invuln save made better by a res orb by +1 on troops and +2 on characters because they have removed the 3+ invuln item res orbs 5pts dearer.
He also saw a change/notes for both flayed ones and scarabs but didn’t have time to read them properly other than scarabs do two things on a 5 and a 6 now. I’m guessing an armour point gone on only a 5 now and maybe a glance on a 6? That’s speculation on my part.
Please i’m just repeating what i was told today he’s a bit of a joker my mate but he really was up there last week as some other guy was covering the shop."

this was put up on Faeit earlier this week... but general consensus is that this was completely bogus so I didn't want to put it up...
also GW doesn't call in shop managers to tell them rules for new releases.... whenever you see this "up for training at GW and told..." it's a good chance it's all crap...
Natfka himself (who runs the rumours site) said that these were very suspect...
