Another set of rumours for the rest of the Harlequins released this weekend!
"We have word on what will be coming this week, although no pricing as of yet. However its a nice set of pre-orders with the Harlequin codex, Starweaver transport, dice, and datacards. The codex will be the big news this week, as we look forward hoping to get a glimpse of what will be in it.
Please remember that these are rumors at this point, but from an excellent source.
via an anonymous source on Faeit 212 Can finally confirm that the Codex: Harlequins is next. There's the Codex, Datacards, a painting guide for Harlequins and the Harlequin Starweaver as well. so should be a nice week for fans.
via a separate source on Faeit 212 Releases for this week. Codex: Harlequins – 96 pages hardback full colour not a supplement but a full stand-alone codex Datacards Harlequins – 7 Psychic cards and 36 tactical objectives Harlequin Starweaver – transport for Harlequins, looking a lot like the DE Venom Warriors of the Laughing God: A Harlequins Painting Guide – 168pages, softcover painting guide. Harlequins Dice "

Oooh, harlequin themed dice, and may I add 7 Psychic Cards which means our own Psychic Mastery for the army and that Shadowseers are more than likely sticking around. Any idea if there will be troops in addition to the, well, troupe?

From everything I heard this is a full stand alone codex. NOT a supplement.
however we have two previous codex that have a precedent for few units (Tempestus and Imperial Knights) so I'm not sure how many units may be in it

I'm turning this into my primary army, it's a big change moving to a fully CC oriented army.

looks like a cutoff picture of their transport too. like a large needle-nosed vyper.

seems very similar to a venom... so probably smaller transport capacity style... it's also supposed to make a heavy support option as well...
So Tommy and I were talking about harlies last night and he thought based on the rumours there'd be:
HQ:
Death jester Shadowseer
Troops:
Harlequin Troupes
Elite:
Solitaire
Fast:
Skyweaver Starweaver
Heavy:
the heavy support option for the starweaver
Dedicated Transport:
Starweaver
So some options but really that's the only things rumoured for release at this point model wise, so unless they get some of the eldar/dark eldar options rolled into their dex this may be it. More units than Tempestus and Knights and Legion of the Damned at least...lol...

I wouldn't be surprised if the Heavy Support ends up basically being a Vyper with a big gun

I'm assuming you'd get a Troupe Master as an HQ choice. Old rules had Troupe Masters and then like High Avatar of the Harlequins or something like that. Death Jester seems more like a heavy to me. Otherwise it looks about right to me.

DJ as an HQ was more due to the leaked picture which indicated it was a "court" style with those models listed

I really can't see the Harlequins being more than allies. I'll wait to see what the actual rules say though.

I really can't see the Harlequins being more than allies. I'll wait to see what the actual rules say though. I can't see them FUNCTIONALLY being more than Allies, but I imagine they'll at least give them the ability to run as their own army, much like Legion of the Damned.

I have no care for their functionality solo. They are going to be a gorgeous army to see on the table, and very different to see played. I personally think I'm going to end up running them as a primary detachment with Eldar allies purely for fire support.
