From Faeit:
"Book IV is now up for pre-orders, and will be out a week from today. Now we are getting a few more details on the next and final book of the series, Endtimes Achaon. This places his the books release on March, which is timely if we are looking Necrons at the end of January and possibly Harlequins in February.
Please remember that these are rumors.

-5th and last Book in March
-Title is Endtimes: Achaon
-More Chaos content, focus on Khorne"

I know it is still far off and a rumor, but MORE BAD GUY FOCUS? Chaos already had a book, throw the good guys a bone!

far as I know the only end times book focused on the "good" armies is going to be Khaine, with the exception of the information about other races presented in the other books (ie: what happened to the empire) but I fear it's all bad news for everyone once Archeon shows up... as all rumours point to the entire warhammer world being destroyed and split into pockets of reality through the end times. spoiler alert - good guys lose however if it makes you feel any better, I do anticipate 9th to start with a "good guys" focus... which will be in a few short months.

Here's to hoping! And good guys always lose in the grim dark fut... oh wait, grim dark "fantasy", because as so aptly put in Spaceballs: The Movie "evil will always triumph because good is dumb".
Also Dark Elves are now good guys! Emo, but good apparently.

Dark Elves were always the good guys, it just took the end of the world for everyone else to figure it out!

Ah gotcha I just have permanent nerd rage on the topic because I have 3 "good" (High Elves, Empire, Lizardmen) and 1 neutral army (Tomb Kings), and they ALL have been (or will be shortly) shat on by End Times

lol.. I had to just get a new army because the two I have: Ogres (fully painted and done) and dwarfs (half built) are rumoured to be not even standalone armies in 9th...
...and bad guys rule, just sayin...

Every end times book represents some evil threat to the old world. Khaine is a bad guy for sure, starting a war in heaven and all. It's not about equally representing all armies, it's about telling an amazing story split into volumes focussing on the major threats to the good guys. It's "End Times: Here's who's coming to ruin your day", and hopefully the final chapter will see all the good guys teamed up to save the world.

Two batches from Faeit:
"It appears that rumors are saying this book is going to be coming earlier than thought, as the date listed in this bit has the book coming out for pre-orders the last weekend of February. Here is the latest regarding the Endtimes: Archaon
Please remember that these are rumors.
via an anonymous source on Faeit 212 -Last weekend in February for the last Endtimes book -2 Hardcover books 248pages First book has picture of Archaon on his fiery steed charging straight at you with flaming sword held to the side Second book shows the Archaon model in a very similar pose, but with the Steed's head turned slightly towards the right. "
and....
"A second set of information about the Endtimes: Archaon is coming in, and this time with a few bits of information regarding models, both new and a couple entries that will be using the current models.
Please remember that these are early rumors.
via an anonymous source on Faeit 212 I wanted to restate that Archaon is on his steed on the cover of book 2, but its not a new model. There are other characters I have seen briefly, like -Grimgor, Incarnate of Beasts. The model shown is the same as the current model. -Balthasar, Incarnate of Metal. Same model again as is current
New models I have seen, include a kit that makes three bloodthirster models. These are in the book and are different Monster (characters). They range from 400-550pts.
Taken from memory they are -Headmen of Khorne with Wrathaxe and Bloodflail standing on flames leaping into the air -Unfettered Fury with Axe and Whip standing on the ground -Reaver of the Bloody Path with two handed great axe standing leaping high on flames
Also two new units with new models -Skullreapers: The Chosen of Khorne with 2 handed swords and other weapons -Wrathmongers: The Bringers of the Bloodstorm with chain like flails"

I know I'm not dyslexic but whenever I see Balthasar Gelt I see Gaius Baltar. I have no idea why, but it does make me happy.
