This has me hopeful that they’ll do something fantastic with the Thousand Sons in regards to psychic potential. Because really, Thousand Sons squad leaders only having access to 2 disciplines while loyalist librarians get 9 is more than a slap in the face.

That Hounds formation pleases the Khorne fan in me, I've gotta say. I dunno if it's worth not being KDK, but free MoK on marines and bonuses to strength are pretty solid, not to mention run and charge.
I'm torn by the Black Legion Warband formation - I could chuck my Word Bearers army in to it almost fully - I'd just need to grab some bikes and trade one of my Sorcerors for a Lord. That Thirst For Glory rule is pretty nice, given how many Rhinos float around anymore, it should be pretty easy to kill something quickly and get a big bonus for the rest of the army, but on the other hand is that worth tossing ObSec out the door? Favoured of the Warmaster could be good situationally, but lets be honest, how often does a Chaos model actually win a challenge anymore? It specifies "earns a roll" so it won't work for Gift of Mutation.
Something to play around with anyway - When it comes down to it I'm probably still better off rolling as Space Marines in a Battle Company, especially with those new Psychic Powers.

Oh look, the vaguely functional ones are still sort of usable, and the unnecessarily overpriced ones are still ridiculous.

Just as a side note, Mike confirmed today that Nexus will not be getting these books for a little bit. Distributor ran out.
