...ergo bad... sadly khorne DP (outside of free KDK ones) suck, and Tzeentch DP suck unless you drop a crapton of points on them...
otherwise, 4x nurgle with just wings and balesword (ML1 for a biomancy buff MAYBE) would wreck some armies pretty horrifically - especially eldar and grav-marines
tau would rip it a new one though... (eat volume of S5/6/7 shooting with no cover saves! time to die!)

The daemon prince formation is a little more survivable them just daemon princes because of the +1 toughness they have from the formation but you need to kill only one for them to loose it.
I like a daemon prince of tzeentch more then a lord of change cause you can make a daemon prince of tzeentch cost the same and it will have better bs ws int and armour. The only things is the loc has to 6 base.
For the +1 invul warlord. If you give it to fateweaver. 3++ reroll ones. Then have two other FMC with him all with change. One that the thing that gives them all the change spells. And then you have two or three FMC with d weapons and 3 or 4++ Rerolling ones. Flying around destroying your stuffs.

Yep. Sorry I ment one with that thing. That's why I said two or three. Two as in a daemon prince with the relic And fateweaver come auto with all of change. So auto d weapon.

i know it comes out today. But here are some pics of the daemon decurion. Yes the actual wording of the objective is simalar but totally different. not as broken/ op. Slanesh gets the best deal. since his/her number is 6 they only have to take 6 units for their core. Tzeentch needing 9 sucks but shannon will like, the daemonette and feinds. with three soul grinders and maybe the a keeper of secrets. Attachments:

did they just want to put the final nail in the coffin of anyone wanting to play Khorne daemons outside of KDK?
that's a LOT of pink horrors...
I see some possibilities in the slaanesh one (given I like slaanesh) but unless those formation benefits are pretty stellar, double CAD is the only way to get two buff heralds... which is the only way to raise fiends to usable... which are one of the tax units...
so I'd maybe run something like:
Herald-steed, lesser reward, locus of beguilement 5 fiends 5 fiends 10 daemonettes 10 daemonettes 10 daemonettes 10 daemonettes
Keeper - 2x greater, 1x lesser, ML3 (warlord) Keeper - 2x greater, ML2 Keeper - 2x greater, ML2
Soul grinder - slaanesh Soul grinder - slaanesh Soul grinder - slaanesh

totally doable now with double CAD and all of that, but normally now I'd have two support heralds for the fiends and change out some buffs and one of the keepers for Bel'akor
so I guess it all depends on how stellar those formation rules are as to if this is plausible or not as a competitive list. I think one can be made...
if you were going to try and minimize the tax units I think I'd go for the nurgle one and just spam MSU nurglings. That could work I think.

yeah khorne will be in daemon kin, tzeentch will get a buff with powers and maybe items, but the decurion is so tough to do unless you take a bunch of exalted flamers. who are not relentless so they cant shoot unless you dont move them. meaning paying 50 points per model for nothing. They do get plus one str to their flamer making them crappy mini hel drakes lol.
what you have there would be pretty awesome, everything from your core cormation gives -1 to int and attacks to things in close combat with them, and the beguilment of the herald goes to all the units of the formation within 12. add that to everything scoreing an objective until a scoring unit clears it, and we dont even know what the three soul grinder formation get.
looks pretty strong

I've heard the grinder formation gives +1 wS/BS to the other grinders in the formation once one of the grinders kills a unit.
the beguilement locus being 12" actually solves the problem of needing two heralds... so that's pretty good... -1 init doesn't matter for slaanesh, but -1 attacks is pretty huge.

Tzeentch might as well go normal cad and just take the new powers, and relics
