Brining back save modifiers is something I'm really pumped for. I think if implemented properly it will go a long way towards making more weapon types viable, and closing the gap between Vehicles and MCs.

For a non AoS player. What is a generals handbook. What is inside it?

For a non AoS player. What is a generals handbook. What is inside it? its basically the rule book. But it has more then one way to play. two fun or story telly ways to play. and one for competitive with points values for all the forces you can use. including points values for their formations.

Oh I agree, they totally have tested 40k rule elements in fantasy in the past. I know people say aos gets rid of rules bloat. But it only gets rid of very little doesn't it just shift it. Instead of a lot of general rules. You have tonnes of rules for your models instead? So instead of trying to remember all the general rules you only have to know the rules for your models. But most good players try to know the rules for their opponents also which will make it harder for people to remember it all. Just my opinion on that. I find that the more you play, the more you learn how your opponents models synergize with each other. It's only after getting whooped really hard by a decent combo that you remember to stop your opponent from pulling it off the next time I'm excited to see how the rules turn out for 40k!
