I'm excited to see those terminators. You know they will be rocking a 4+ invul on them. I wonder if they will have any way to make that better, even if they can't they're still more survivable than a basic terminator. I also wonder what those weapons they carry will look like. I have a distinct feeling they will not be just normal CCW they will have something going for them. Also if I'm not mistaken current rubric Marines have ap 3 bolter, so the idea that these guys may come onto the board with ap 3 storm bolter is actually terrifying. Add to that the obvious psyker for the unit they have a lot of potential.

I'm more interested in the plethora of flamer weapons and what looks like an archaic version of an assault cannon... Attachments:

Any one else wondering the implication that they are bringing something from aos to 40k.
More to come?

if rumours are to be believed, they're bringing two units... the Tzaangors and the brimstone horrors...
I think there's going to be quite a few crossovers, especially when it comes to daemon models - super easy to include a pistol arm in an existing kit (like the Tzaangors) to make them instantly usable in 40k!

As it should be.
"But it’s in the psychic phase that Magnus really comes into his own (in fact, we’re considering just changing the name of the phase to “Magnus’ phase”). The Crimson King knows no fewer than 15 powers, and is able to cast them with an ease no one else can match. He even has his very own power, Gaze of Magnus, a spell powerful enough to send a Baneblade to oblivion."
Not a GMC though? Proof that GW may want Chaos Marine player’s money, but they still fucking hate us, lol.

Proof that CSM can be handed the most powerful FMC in the game and still complain..... lol...

Lol, we already did; Belakor. Having Magnus as an MC allows him to be stomped or crunched by superheavies. He’s never going to go toe to toe with an Imperial or Wraithknight because Str D will wreck him like any other MC. I will give you he’s tough AF with that statline and I won’t write him off until I’ve seen what the rest of his rules are. Not a GMC though… why make him that big if he’s not? It just doesn’t make sense.

Magnus won't have to fight any superheavies he doesn't want to... hes a FMC.... and a psychic monster....
He'll for certain have FNP, eternal warrior etc. and we already know a 4+ invul rerolling 1's.
He can just fly around IK and WK and just either psychic blast them to oblivion, or if he's feeling fighty, he will buff himself up with one or two of his 15 powers (hell, what about iron arm and warp speed?) and utterly destroy anything he touches.
They'll never get to even swing.. and even if they do... good luck getting through those defenses.
Why not make him a GMC?
.... cuz he might have a kickass shooting attack to overwatch with? .... cuz GMC's might be changing a bunch in 8th
or more likely .... cuz if he was a GMC you'd bet he'd be banned from all tournaments everywhere and people wouldn't get to use him
