ooooh... much more clearly defined cult ambush... and 9" away, then moving... then charging... oh my... it's like I'm rolling 6's all the time? done! however the 50% deploy rule keeps that from being abused too much I guess... abberrants though... strength user on the power picks eh?... well I guess they aren't unwieldy on the charge, but why drop the strength bonus? D3 wounds is very nice though... I'm hoping the hammers (as ALL mine are modelled!) are a good choice! unquestioning loyalty only works on a 4+ now... but that's probably more balanced overall... mass hypnosis... that is just mean... I'll feel bad when I do it... AS OFTEN AS POSSIBLE!!!!!!! (okay I guess I won't feel that bad after all) looks like I need to buy some rockgrinders... I could ignore them previously because of cult insurrection detachment... but with that going away... well I don't have an excuse now do I???

I'm curious to see if they've expanded the number / type of AM units the GSC can pull in to the fold. And yes Shannon, it looks like there will be more rockgrinders hitting the tabletop. Or tanks. I like tanks. Mass hypnosis? BWAH HA HA!!! (Cue twirling the moustache and stroking the beard.) May be heard humming that old favourite "Tip toe through the corpses with me!"

I like that it appears my all infantry list (that was friggin expensive as hell to build!) is still a viable option, but rockgrinders are also good so I actually have an incentive to spend even more money!.... oh wait.... GW you sneaky gits!

seems pretty reasonable and balanced... I like! (and even though the smurfs have the ability to battle company if need be, I'm happy that build is gone)
the Primaris space marines being that numerous kind of bugs me (everyone gets some PLUS enough for a whole new chapter of just them!)... like Cawl just had a giant closet with them all stacked up and ready to go just in case?... oh here you go, instant thousands of space marines... just add gene seed for variety... pouches of sea monkeys maybe? yeah, I'm going with sea monkeys...

Yeah, you’d think that sometime in that 10,000 years someone would have noticed that unimaginable amount of new armor and weapons funneling into Mars.
Void Dragon? Nope, it’s just Cawl making new Marines; the Void Dragon thing was a carefully constructed ruse in order to deceive the true purpose of the work being accomplished. Also…To the Blood Angels Players, if they bring back Sanguinius; I’m sorry. The chaos Primarchs makes sense that they wouldn’t go absolutely berserk for the current state of affairs, loyalist Primarchs though… A bit harder to just “lalalala” ignore the rampant mutation, psychic use, xenos allies, etc. that’s going on nowadays. My idea of a sample conversation should they bring back Russ or Dorn.
Gulliman: “Brother! You have returned, come, let us retake the stars once more!” Russ/Dorn: “What’s up with the armor? I thought you were poisoned, like, forever ago.” Gulliman: “Yeah, funny thing, I had a big robot suit made by this old AF Mechanicum dude with some help from a Dark Eldar pit slave.” Russ/Dorn: “A what?” Gulliman: “This really old Magos dude, we’ve also got the new marines and Librarians man, freaking librarians. They move stuff with their minds and shit, it’s intense; but totally not like Nikaea, these are super safe and sanctioned, they only summon good demons from the warp.” Russ/Dorn: “….wait; daemons, xenos allies…” Gulliman: “Woot!” *struts towards the Stormbird* Russ/Dorn: *sets macro-warhead timer and walks onto stormbird behind Gulliman* “Well, there’s one down.”

I guess whoever has been making super soldiers for the Imperium for the last 10 000 years just wasn't trying hard enough.

this page of leaks has some necron stuff on it! since GW clearly doesn't like necrons and are waiting until the last moment to do a faction focus on them.
although i'm not sure if i can believe the whole basic gauss is ap -2 though...

Ya if basic gauss is ap -2. Then I expect to see a tonne of warriors hit the table.

Maybe its just news to be but the alternating deployment is interesting. I know AoS uses it and it seems pretty effective. I dont see it being a big time issue since the point cost for a lot of stuff looks like it will have increased.
